sonoffigaro.livejournal.com[It's the day after Garnet's wedding, and Edgar's already up and at 'em. However much he drank the day before, it isn't showing at all, as he's dressed well and groomed nicely, just like he is on every other day.]
This world grows more familiar every day, though I doubt we'll ever know absolutely everything about it. But with as many fine minds as are arriving daily, there's no reason to hoard information that can be put to use to make the lives of everyone better in the long run.
In the spirit of felicity and cooperation, I would like to offer room in Figaro Castle to the moogle collective, in order to establish a new subheadquarters for Mooglenet on the Outer Continent. I will be happy to furnish and supply a wing of the castle with tools and equipment to help with this goal and bring better communication to the inhabitants of Gaia, whether native or not.
I would also like to extend quarters and workspace to any engineers, mechanical workers, or inventors that have not yet found a permanent home. For many years, Figaro has been the birthplace of many technological marvels, including a system of tunneling beneath the desert. It's a legacy I would like to continue; I work as an inventor myself in my spare time, mostly in the area of weaponry, but also dabble in engineering and architecture as well. A collection of intelligent minds seeking answers to various problems will benefit Gaia enormously, and teh castle is already equipped for such work, with the desert around us as the perfect testing ground for more volatile experimentation. And if anyone wishes to learn any of these skills, you're more than welcome to join us as well, provided you're willing to work hard and aren't opposed to learning from mistakes, which are inevitable in this line of work.

I've been asked to attend a meeting at the... some place I can't pronounce just yet. A compatriot of Ashe and Rasler is calling a meeting of all the heads of state of the various worlds to discuss the Garland and Kuja situation as well as something of Kefka, and I need to attend. Locke, I think you mentioned going to one of these in my place before - I'll try and keep it from turning into a circus. Sabin, Celes, I would like at least one of you to come with me, to help organize Figaro's defense and gain as much strategic knowledge as possible. Celes especially, as your military knowledge would be highly valuable to such a discussion. Terra, if you'd like to come as well, I wouldn't say no.
Locke, I have a job for you - we have something we need you to find. There's an artifact native to this world called the Earth Mirror that will be one of the keys to finding a way to stop this man. If you can find it, it would save countless lives.
I don't know much more than that, unfortunately, but I know that Regent Cid and Queen Garnet both have more information on it, and can probably give you a much more complete description as well. Are you willing to take this on?
