[The feed opens to the muted sounds of the docks and a moogle starting to go into the usual welcome speech and explanation given to all new arrivals. Much closer and less muffled is the sound of something sliding into place and the obvious noise of a shotgun being loaded and readied to fire. The sound marks a sudden quiet as the moogle apparently cuts it's speech short in response to the action.]

I'll give you until the count of three to get out of my face...or you're going to be losing that pom-pom.

[There is naught but the surrounding noises of the docks in the distance before finally a muted Ku-Kupo!! can be heard, followed by an annoyed sigh and a muttered "finally."]

Rude, once this 'loop' ends, I want you and the others to make haste to this port. We can decide just where we'll go from here once everyone is here.

[On this rather lovely day - not unlike the ones they'd been having for the past week - Zack can be found sitting on a bench in Luca with somewhat of a dejected look. That along with the fact he's sitting there quietly - as in not moving, running around or bouncing like an overexcited puppy - might be a clue that he's not very amused with life anymore - or at least with one particular never ending day. He sort of jumps when there's a loud explosion sounding from his phone and he just stares at it, incredule]

This place has officially gone to hell...

[because, seriously, timeloop or not who'd hurt a moogle?]

What a beautiful morning, kupo!

[The sun is rising over Goug. Moguo stops as he hears something that sounds like an odd sort of ticking. Beep. Beep. Beep.]

Do you hear that, kupo? It sounds like a count-

[There's a flash of light and a terrific BANG, then the phone goes dead.]

[Screen flicks on to show the trains underneath the beam of steel again and the two workers lifting it up, an alarm goes off as the cable snaps and the beam begins to fall]

[Just then another beam is swung from an opposite direction and slams directly into the falling beam causing it to safely fall away from the trains and workers]

[Cid walks in on the camera] Repeat an event for as long as I have been seeing, and eventually the timing can be right, all it takes is to figure out the correct second to which to swing the beam and slam it into the on coming one. Then I moved everyone out of the area, to which I calculated it to fall and...presto!

[The two workers look at each other, then look at Cid confused, Cid sighs] It's a long story guys...if we see tomorrow...then we'll  talk about it. [Cid laughs as the camera cuts out]
[identity profile] rughadjeen.livejournal.com
[Rughadjeen like all days gone by is still in the Monastery. What's different, and has been for the past few days is the fact Rishfee is still unconscious. He's taken out his skyphone and switch it on in the hopes he will get answers for this incident. He looks tired, agitated and more than a little pissed off. He tries to take a calming breath but it isn't working at all.]

It seems that no matter what I do I cannot wake Rishfee up. I have been trying for the past two days now to no avail. He passed out with no warning and whilst his breathing seems to be that of someone simply sleeping...he just...won't wake up.

I had hoped with the days repeating he would be all right by the morning.

I find myself yet again asking for some kind of help. Does anyone know if something may have caused this passing out, or is it simply an illness that forces it's way to work through these horrid events?

I shouldn't have left his side.

[Rinoa clears her throat.]

This is for any of you guys who missed Ellone's post yesterday. We're all trapped in a loop... The good thing is, it's not Time Compression. The bad thing is... Time's still messed up. But I know Ellone can fix it. We've seen time magic back in our world before. We know what we're doing, so please, trust us.

And all of you who are going around doing horrible things because you think there won't be any consequences should be ashamed of yourselves! We're trying to fix this, and when we do, you'll realise it isn't so funny. So stop it.

[Filtered to Tidus]

Hey, Tidus, are you in Luca? We shouldn't let a little thing like a time loop stop us from meeting up, right? You promised me swimming lessons!

[Have Hope, sitting on the ground and leaning against a tree trunk. He's looking tired now, a few days repeating outside will do that to anyone.]

Is this nearly over yet? At least someone must know how to fix this. Right? There's only so many coconuts I can eat.

What a beautiful morning, kupo!

[The sun is rising over Goug. The camera pans to show some workers already beginning to go about their business. But wait. What's that? Smoke billows out from a nearby building, and then another, and then another.]

Oh, no, kupo! Fire! Fire! Somebody help, kupo!

[Some of the workers are panicking now, others rushing off to try and put out the fires. A group of masked Al Bhed appear and smash a shop window before going inside to loot the store.]

Kupo! Somebody stop them, kupo!

[Cid is pacing around mummbling]

I swear having to keep all this information in my head is stressful, especially when I have nothing to refer to. And each time the loop occurs my mind just suddenly snaps just a little bit.

I swear...If we as sky people don't figure out a way out of this, I may just lose it! [Sighs and sits down on a nearby stool]

...

[Looks at the camera] Sorry, for those unaware of the term, lose it means...go crazy...

[Alarm goes off and again, the trains are destroyed. Cid's eye twitches...very much]

Nuts...insane...bonkers...no longer in possession of ones faculties [gets up] THREE PROPELLORS SHORT OF AN AIRSHIP...[Visor goes down] WACKO!

[Pack begins to expands as his legendary Hammers and sounds of metal being smashed and crunched are heard]

CID! CID! CALM DOWN! WE CAN FIX IT!

[Feed Cuts out]

[Tifa is sitting on the couch next to a pile of boxes. She gives one a rather rueful poke with her foot.]

You know, unpacking can take a while but this really isn't funny.

I was thinking... I'm sure you guys have noticed by now. Only the Sky People know that this is happening. What I'm wondering is... Why? Is it because we're not from this world? Is there something different about us?

And there's something else. What about the party in Terra? We still haven't heard from them, but they could be out there right now fighting Garland. Maybe this isn't a coincidence. Maybe it's the start of something. What if tomorrow is the day that everything goes back to normal, and this is Garland's last attempt to trap us? Forcing us to relive the same day over and over... Because it's the last time he can.

What a beautiful morning, kupo!

[The sun is rising over Goug. The camera pans to show some workers already beginning to go about their business.]

I'm going to join a dig, ku... po?

[In the background, two Al Bhed hold up a large sign. It says: DAY 5. WELCOME TO HELL.]

That's not very nice, kupo. What does it mean?
[identity profile] unlimitedcid.livejournal.com
[Scene flicks onto Cid, surely enough in perfect health, legs unbroken]

It would seem that you all were right...I'm better.

...

[Shakes head] No time for that. I've come to realize a few things, thanks to the Sky People. This may all come to you as old news, but I feel it might be relevant to those who think otherwise. But first off...

[Alarm sounds again, Cid counts down with his fingers, when suddenly a large clang fills the audio]

Tanya, Ellen, and Donna have been taken down. Again...[He's slowly tempted to go ballistic on his workers]

Right now the details:

First, It seems the day repeats always from dusk till dawn. Meaning that anything that happens with in these twenty four hours becomes irrelevant, ergo, the consequences have been greatly lowered, to the point where anyone can do ALMOST anything they want. However this rule only applies to sky people. Which brings me to my next point

People who are native to Gaia are unknown to the changes, The moogle in the desert constantly posting his dig log, my workers in the airship yard, et cetera. Meaning that anything done to them no matter how disturbing or destructive to them as it may be, tomorrow will be a new day in which no Gaians remember.

Lastly, Death and injury have no affect here. This has been demonstrated through my friend Kaze and my latest injuries the day before, which is actually today if you are Gaian.

I have no idea how long this will last, but I will try and find a way.

Until then, Cid out.

[She's sitting in bed at this point, with her back against the wall and it takes her a few minutes to actually come out and say something. She looks pensive for that whole time as she tries to remember how to breathe properly and gather courage. Eventually, her expression hardens and she turns to the Sky Phone again.]

H-hello. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Ellone. A lot has been happening recently and I'm sorry I didn't address this earlier, but I didn't have time. [She lets out a very small smile and laugh at that.] It's kind of ironic. I think the days are repeating somehow. I don't know how, but I'm working on a way to fix it. I- [She takes another deep breath.] I have a special power, something I was born with. I can send a person's consciousness back in time so they can see what happened to someone else. That's what happened last month. I guess... I guess switching powers was always part of the deal.

I know there are people who are falling unconscious for seemingly no reason at all this week. This is... it's my fault, too. Don't worry too much about them, okay? They aren't hurt at all. I'm just trying to find a way to fix what's going on in time. It's not supposed to do this.

Um, I guess if you have questions, you can ask me. I'm really sorry about all of this.

[She gives a really sad and wavering smile before she cuts off the feed.]

[The sound of battle boomed loudly through the speakers of the sky phone, no doubt startling a few listeners as an intense unseen battle waged. With the terrible screech of a dying fiend overcoming the sound of a blade ripping through flesh, the noise eventually ends. There was no visual to be had yet, but there was a voice…]

Foul beast! It would take more than your kind to thwart me.

[As the confident speaker talks, the image of the stalwart warrior finally appears. While most Gaians wouldn’t be shocked by the appearance of a Burmecian knight, this particular Burmecian must have been a shock for all to see since it was none other than Sir Fratley himself staring down into the camera. Blinking his eyes in curiosity as he inspected the sky phone, a look of relief settles upon his rat-like features.]

Ah! So you still have some life to you, do you? Ha! I swore you was done for once that beast sank its teeth into you.

[Juggling between the phone and his spear, the video does go out briefly only to reappear facing the ground.]

Away I go! With my debt to you Lilties paid, I must take my leave.

[There’s some muffled voices, perhaps belonging to the said Lilties he aided.]

Now, now. There is no need for ‘thanks’, humble friends. I merely wished to return a good deed with another. Your city is quite majestic, but someone like me can be lead astray quite easily.

Again, farewell! May fortune and prestige shine down upon you and the remnants of your Empire to be. Although, do be careful. I do not believe these fields are safe…

[The transmission suddenly ends.]

(ooc: lol! He has no idea Time is repeating itself, guys. Have fun telling him)

Okay, okay, I get it. I'm in Figaro, not Dalmasca. You didn't need to kidnap me to prove. I see the castle, really.

But kupo, we didn't kidnap you!

Then why am I out here again? I was with Penelo before!

Because you've just arrived, kupo.

I arrived yesterday.

No, you didn't. You arrived today, kupo.

No, yesterday.

Today!

Yesterday!

Today!

[when the cat is away, the mice shall play. Or rather, when the old paladin is away, Gadalar will vent some frustration and burn the living hell out of anything hostile and with a pulse. The black mage stands on the edge of Alexandria, armed with his scythe of course, and beginning a long long long process that he usually reserves for alonetime. Hey. It vents out frustration, and it also makes quite a lot of gil. Great for the unemployable.

His eyes narrow, and he soon spies a cluster of bandersnatches. Eight, maybe ten of the things; going around in their own bizarrely weird way.
Easy prey.

Within instants, the black mage sends off a powerful Firaga IV spell - eyes darkening as they all well... explode.

Too easy.

[ As Rishfee is the religious sort finding himself at the monastery has been quite an interesting thing. He's never seen one before, never experienced one before and absolutely has very little idea of the service they provide. However. With everything that's gone on, he feels he does need to at least try and pray for Aphmau's safety. The camera upon the skyphone sweeps slowly past the gathered masses in the oratory from his safe little vantage point on the third floor. He still hasn't been discovered by the locals, and he's intending on keeping it that way. His voice is little more than a low, yet clear whisper.]

So this..
is how your people find solace?

[He does sound quite confused. It's nothing like what he's used to. There's no incense, no Gordeus and absolutely no discussion about the world. It's a far cry from Walahra Temple, but he's found something even stranger. Singing. Listening to something someone is reading. It's odd. The skyphone focuses upon his face, much less pale than last time (thanks, Eiko.) and much more healthy looking, yet still missing an eye.]

[With the device activated mid-sentence, it's clear this transmission is neither planned out nor made in any patience. Strange, considering practically everything else about her day is repetition, just as with everyone else. There are hasty footsteps, presumably Ashelia's; she's speaking to someone in her company with urgency and concern in her voice.]

-any sign of him waking - any change -  you must alert me.

[The man, a guard, responds distantly, then a second set of heavier footsteps sound his departure. There's an audible breath from the princess as she quickly thinks out her address amidst her fear.]

I do not understand his state, nor am I able to remedy whatever ails him.
