The screen crackled to life showing what looked like a fairly well maintained ceiling, and a thumb over the viewer. In the background a female voice can be heard speaking as the camera is twisted this way and that. “Dacd. Uha, dfu, drnaa, Dacd...*”
“Oh, it’s on!” Suddenly Rikku’s upper body and face came into view, her hair tugged back by her blue bandana, her eyes wide as she leaned back a little and waved at the screen. She's dressed in her usual adventuring bikini and ribbons and such. “Uh, Hey there. I’m Rikku! Some little white bear thing gave me this, looked like one of Lulu’s dolls actually, said I needed to talk to people? Took me a little bit to get it working though, it’s not like anything I’ve ever seen before!”
She smiles and then looks away, and there’s the distant sound of beeps which would sound familiar to those who work and live in the garden, as they are the beeps the computers make when someone uses them. Specifically, the classroom computers, which Rikku is playing with. “Actually, none of this stuff is like any machina I’ve seen before, ya know? I think this is like a sphere that holds information but it’s not blue or staticy…” She giggles. “Or a sphere, actually.”
“But anyway!” She twists back to the screen again. “I don’t know where I am or how I got here, and I’m really hopin’ somebody can help me, ya know? ‘Cause I went to bed last night on the ship and now…” She shrugs. “So, uh, Yunie? Paine? Either of you there? I’m…somewhere.” Suddenly the camera twists around and shows the inside of one of the Galbadia Garden training classrooms. “Where ever here is, anyway.”
And then after a moment she’s back to looking at the computer screen she found, and seemingly oblivious to the little screen for the moment, and the beep noises are back. “Ur fuf, E fuhtan fryd y ‘Guardian Force’ ec…**”
*Test. One, two, three. Test…
**Oh wow, I wonder what a Guardian Force is…
(( This is the day after the party, presumably.))
