CECIL'S PARTY

[ It had really been Lilisette's idea, and she had been instrumental in getting it all planned out and running. Rosa was grateful to the girl's diligence and cheer, willing to help out wherever needed. The courtyard of the castle was set up with decorations and refreshments, and tables and chairs had been set up as well, in case people wanted to sit down for a little bit. The castle was also being decorated, so people could also wander around if they wanted to as well.

For her part, Rosa had sent Cecil on set duties for the day, periodically checking up on him to be sure he was doing all right and to be sure he wasn't planning on going back before they were ready.

Eventually, everything was prepared, the guests were due to arrive shortly, and Rosa was on her way to fetch her husband. ]

[At some point, Terra wanders over. She, too, lingers on the fringes of things, never that comfortable with a crowd. Knowing that Kain and Reis are much the same way makes her feel a little more confident about approaching them. A small smile forms on her lips as she approaches.]

Very well, ever since... [He can't help but look even somewhat happy. Though he's still not one to outright grin, there's at least a partial almost-smile there.] ...since recently.

[Reis nods at Terra and smiles, although it might seem a little strained. Not that she's anti-social by any means, but there is far too large a crowd for her comfort and she's trying her best to cope with feeling on display (even if she's not).]

[Kain reaches to take her hand and lightly squeeze it, trying to be reassuring.]

[Terra's about to say something when she notices Reis' nervousness. There's a sympathetic look sent her way, then she spares a quick glance to Cecil. He seems busy, so she won't be missed.]

I was thinking of taking a walk, to get away from the crowd for a bit. Um, if you wanted to join me...?

[Kain has to agree about that being a good location, being up there is much better, especially getting some space from the mingling people. So he heads along eagerly in that direction.]

[Reis isn't wasting any time in coming along either. She's practically running to reach the destination sooner in her eagerness to escape the crowd.]
