[The video first comes on to show darkness- the Sky Phone is being covered completely by someone's hand. There's the muffled sound of a moogle-explanation in progress. The hand only moves after the moogle's explanation is finished, as the man moves to examine the device. It becomes clear enough why no one could see anything on the Sky Phone's screen- he's huge, especially when compared to the moogle, with white hair and a brown cloak and kilt. It should be familiar to some- as well as the expression of deep thought that goes with it.]

Then this device allows for communication with others.

[Even if they don't recognize him without his armor, that deep voice should be unmistakable to anyone who has heard it before.]

It does not matter. There are only two people I need to find. Is there a way that can be accomplished, Hummingway?

I'm a moogle, kupo! And... looks like it's too late for that.

...Tch. Fusoya, Cecil, if you are here... respond.

[Cecil stares at the Sky Phone. He doesn't know the man's face, but he knows that voice. Discounting Memoria, it's a voice he hasn't heard in seventeen years. A voice he had began to think he'd never hear again.]

...Brother...?

[Cecil looks almost exactly as he did in Golbez's dream. Golbez examines him intently, looking carefully for any signs of something wrong, whether physical injuries or anything else. Perhaps in another situation he would be more awkward about this, but right now, he needs to be sure that Cecil is safe.]

Cecil. Are you all right?

[Cecil quickly recollects himself from his shock. He has mixed feelings about Golbez's appearance; it dredges up painful memories the decades had buried... But at the same time, he's his brother. He forgave him a long time ago, and had hoped ever since the war of the gods that they would meet again.]

I'm fine, you've no need to worry. Where are you?

The- moogle has called it Tida. Where are you? [Covert examinations work, somewhat, but it would be best to check in person, even if it made Cecil uncomfortable. As long as Cecil was alright, Golbez would be willing to avoid him, if it was what Cecil wanted.]

Troia. I'm not sure how much the moogle explained to you, but the Troia of our world is here on Gaia.

[He opens up the map on his Sky Phone to pinpoint Tida. Given so many of them have appeared lately he's getting pretty used to using it.]

I see -- you're almost directly north of here. I can come and find you, if you wish...?

It said that such might be true. [He questioned the moogle very thoroughly.]

It is unnecessary. I doubt Troia would react well to my presence.

[He wants to see Golbez, but he wouldn't put his personal wishes above those of his people. But that doesn't mean he can turn his back on his brother, either.]

According to the map, you're on an isolated island. Staying there wouldn't be wise, least of all now, of all times.

[The camera jostles as Cecil gets up and prepares to leave. Intentional vagueness is intentional -- he'd like for it to be a surprise.]

[The next response comes some time later, long enough that Golbez has spent time talking to Ceodore.]

... Why did you choose that name?

[Cecil stops in his tracks in one of the castle corridors, now armed with a sword and the rest of his equipment. He looks almost puzzled at the Sky Phone, as though the answer to that question should be obvious.]

Rosa and I chose it together. We thought it would be a good name.

[Rosa, too? Even after the kidnapping?]

There are many other names you could have decided upon.

[While Cecil has enormous levels of respect for his father, he barely knew the man beyond a brief encounter with a disembodied voice. Using his brother's name instead has a far more personal meaning.]

Ceodore seems quite taken with his namesake, at any rate. He said he'd hoped to see you again.

I'll be leaving in a matter of minutes to find you. Will you be safe until then? [It doesn't seem like he's been dumped in the middle of hordes of monsters like Kain the others had the misfortune to be, but just to be sure...]

[And eventually Cecil does arrive, landing the airship on the outskirts of Tida. The lifeless town makes him uneasy, but he sets off right away, one hand on his sword hilt. His focus is on finding his elder brother as quickly as he can.]

[Golbez is waiting in the center of Tida, arms folded. He'd examined the town as he waited, attempting to search out what had happened to it, with little success. He's used to disturbing places like this, so he isn't as much on guard as Cecil is.

When his brother finally appears, Golbez approaches him, and nods.]
