[A tired looking Elvaan comes on to the screen as he switches the feed on. Turning the phone around to show the room he's staying in in Lindblum.]

This is now the fourth day that I have woken up to the same announcements, a lot of the locals don't seem to notice this. Tiresome is not a word I would use for this any more. How on Vana...er Gaia am I suppose to be able to to get around if I simply wake up here again.

I know I am not the only one to be suffering. If anyone happens to have even the smallest idea of what is going on, would you kindly inform us?

[His tired voice and expression are a little more angry looking.]

General Gadalar isn't answering his phone. At least let me know you have done anything ridiculous to anger the people of Alexandria, Flameserpent. I have faith in you, but previous...incidents where your temper has been provoked leave me no choice but to make sure. Especially with Najelith not being here.

[ Gadalar's been sleeping, actually. Have an irritated look - though it's not disdainful. At least he's happy you made it in one piece.]

The fools on this world are repeating themselves. Little matter. With luck, it'll signal the end of this nightmare, and the end of this world. It'll be some bizarre dream or hallucinations from my chai being spiked with woozyshrooms.

It is more than a 'little matter' when you are trying to travel or find out information. Since the next day is just a repeat. What if it isn't some bizarre dream and the world were to end here? Wouldn't we, as living beings here have our time ended? No chance to return to our own true home?

Nothing may have been favourable for a while but from the way he spoke it seemed as though it would only get worse. Much worse and nothing we could do would stop this.

Gadalar, Rishfee was gravely injured when he arrived here, although he fares better as of now he needs time. There's nothing to report from this end other than Aphmau doesn't seem to be in the area.

If the world ended here, if it were repeating itself in some sort of rigour mortis before it actually does explode, let it. I'd sooner die then spend more of my life idle and useless. We have no chance to return anyway! You think one will just fall into your lap one day, you old fool?

[Uh-oh. That was a bit harsh, even for him. He inhales. And he listens. He isn't apologising, though. Truth be told, he's worried about Zazarg, Mihli and Najelith. Death, doom and destruction won't exactly spare them.]

[He's quiet for a moment, quite stunned at hearing Gadalar say that and then his jaw clenches and frown lines appear on his forehead.]

I am more open to actually listening to what they say. Especially when it involves those I want to protect and those I hold close to my heart. Doomsday or not.

[He's worried about them too and you should know this. He wants to get back to them, fight with them to the bitter end.]

[He watches the angry elvaan and sighs, eyes losing their hardened look and he turns over onto his side, an un-gloved hand pushing some strands of hair from his eyes before he places the skyphone on the pillow next to him. Better than holding it above his head while he's in bed anyway; and it should become pretty obvious that he is right about now. He's sleepy. And now he's worried. and worry doesn't lead to good sleep. Thanks, Rughadjeen! ]

So the puppeteer isn't here. That spares her this hell, at least.

...And if we don't get back to die alongside the other's side? What then? If this world even has a conciousness, I don't believe it gives a damn about what we want.

[Right now, he really wishes he could just curl up and go to sleep as well. Even if the beds were a foot too small. He hasn't has a decent rest since the day before he left to find Rishfee. Hearing about the attack that was bound to happen, the Elvaan couldn't rest easy. You might not get a good sleep Gadalar but at least you don't have PANDA EYES! He would kill for some sweet chai right now.]

That isn't stopping how Rishfee is feeling. I suppose either way, whether she were here or back home...no outcome is good.

No, I don't believe it does give a damn but that isn't going to stop me from finding some way to get all of us back.

[A small groan escapes as he rubs his forehead.]

She's better there than here. He's not the only Immortal in existence - If anything she'll be fine. Besides, you can expect him to worry over the matter. He was supposed to be her guard, after all. Great job he did of that. If he were at home and his mistake found out, he'd likely disappear like all Immortals eventually do.

[Since he's got no idea how they all wind up disappearing, he just assumes they're executed for not doing their duty effectively enough. Same as Imperial soldiers. He blinks, and stifles a surprisingly soft yawn!]

[From what he was told, Rughadjeen wasn't so sure that Aphmau being back home was such a good idea. Gadalar was being harsh but the Skyserpent really didn't have the energy to argue back. Not all Immortals were as bad as the General seemed to think they were, never judge a book by its cover and all that. Rughadjeen smiled at the yawn, it was always surprising to see Gadalar with an expression that wasn't always sour. Despite knowing it, it was always a shock to actually witness it. He chuckled at that and shook his head.]

[He's not going to smile. Instead, his eyes soften, and he looks away. Stupid, stupid, old sentimental sap of an elvaan. He stares off for a bit - and then brings his eyes back to the camera, speaking earnestly as ever but not as roughly as usual.]

[Now you've gone and embarrassed him, you old sap. Choosing a few choice insults, the flameserpent practically hisses them out, colours considerably and in one giant huff, rips the pillow from behind his head and covers his face with it, till its gone. He mumbles from underneath the thing.]

[Was that...did he just see...The corners of his mouth twitched and whilst Gadalar's face was covered Rughadjeen covered his mouth with his hand. Biting his bottom lip to stifle a chuckle building up. That was something he'd never seen. Gadalar blushing and acting like a small child or a hormonal teenager. It was ridiculously adorable. The Elvaan composed himself, but the smile just didn't want to go away.]

[Well, Gadalar tends to act as a child would quite a lot. Notably, when he can't nuke things DUE TO BEING SHOT IN THE FUCKING HEAD BY NAJELITH WITH A SILENCING ARROW. Yet. Half the time he does act childish, the situation at hand doesn't exactly... give Rughadjeen much event to notice it. The pillow rises and the flameserpent looks rather indignant, the flush not quite gone but eyes harder than usual. He's trying to ignore what just happened.]

...Try to get some sleep, you old fool.

[His voice isn't hard. He leans over and the screen goes black.]
