[Leonora is hauled up in one of the numerous study rooms in Mysidia, surrounded by a pile of books and parchments. It's unlike her to get huffy but she is a tad frustrated by her research for the day. There's nothing but one minor and oblique reference to the spell that interests her in the Mysidian records, the Gaian tomes available speak of the magic, but don't provide any insight as to casting it other than extreme cautions that it's a very bad thing, and the moogles only squeak at her and run off when she tries to apply to them for information as well. There are no transciptions she can find, nor is there any indication that it's possible to learn by any other means. Why is this?]


Pardon me. I was wondering if there were any students of magic or scholars that might have some insight into this spell. I've found references to Ultima, but no information about learning it. Would anyone happen to have a transcription I could study?

Someone just came through and said that there's one of those myrrh trees in that temple across the island and that there's some monstrous creature guarding it. I'm going to go check it out.



[A couple of hours later, Ceodore turns the feed back on, already battered a fair bit and panting in a side hallway. He pans the phone to show the interior chamber at the end of the hall with the tree being guarded by Yiazmat.]

As King Cecil has likely informed all of you, one that would add her aid to the fight against Garland has instead committed herself to Lufene's chambers. For reasons even the most foolish of all orcs would laugh at, yet that is besides the point. As a result, I seek knights of any order or any race willing to commit themselves with locating her and bringing her back.

[Don't worry, applicants. Knocking Lilisette out / restraining her accordingly in order to move her out of harm's way (which she's put herself in...) has already been taken care of.]

Since finding at least half a company of any which possess the fortitude to call themselves knights is highly unlikely upon this world, all that would, and can, hold a blade and have the will to assist shall be welcomed.

Most people probably won't recognize the bunny-eared woman staring resolutely down at the camera-holding moogle, though. She's been told it's been several months since she was last here. ]
