[Now that the initial tide of monsters has been dealt with, Quistis has chosen to investigate the damage done to Alexandria, it being one of the nearest cities to where Garden's residents had taken up arms during the Lunar Cry itself. The city itself is livable, but she notes the obvious damage done to the houses along the cobblestone street she is standing in and frowns to herself. Since city walls mean little to fiends, she's seen a number of monsters as she's walked the streets as well, though the Alexandrian guard seems to have been dealing with them efficiently. She sighs to herself. It certainly could have been worse.]

Does anyone have a status update on Lindblum or Treno? How are the other cities on the Mist Continent faring?

[Though the monsters brought forth by the Lunar Cry were far from gone, the initial crisis had passed. The Mist Continent was a dangerous place to be, even moreso than it had been in the past, and each of its cities had suffered great losses. Having done what they could in defense of Alexandria, Balthier now left the city in the care of its capable guard, and had agreed to deliver both Basch and Noah to Narshe, where they had been bound before Lunatic Pandora's movements had demanded the the three of them head to Fum along with Fran.

Balthier gave Basch a sidelong glance, the Captain having decided to keep him company at the helm. They both looked a bit worse for wear -- to be expected, he had to admit, after all the fighting, though getting the blood stains free of his vest was going to be a miserable affair.]
