[ It had really been Lilisette's idea, and she had been instrumental in getting it all planned out and running. Rosa was grateful to the girl's diligence and cheer, willing to help out wherever needed. The courtyard of the castle was set up with decorations and refreshments, and tables and chairs had been set up as well, in case people wanted to sit down for a little bit. The castle was also being decorated, so people could also wander around if they wanted to as well.

For her part, Rosa had sent Cecil on set duties for the day, periodically checking up on him to be sure he was doing all right and to be sure he wasn't planning on going back before they were ready.

Eventually, everything was prepared, the guests were due to arrive shortly, and Rosa was on her way to fetch her husband. ]

[She's about to politely decline the hand, but, she can barely walk in these shoes and now her assistance is gone, she decides taking it is better than falling over.]

[Speechless that she'd receive a gift from anyone. She never really has... small things, yes. Food, shelter, simple necessities the people she saves can offer, things that she will take with gratitude, as little as they will let her leave with. But never something such as this, King or no.]
