[Come one, come all. It's time for what Regent Cid expects to be the final council meeting before Garland is defeated. A good thing the airship is so enormous, because there are a lot of people here, all picked up the day before.

He stands up at the head of the table to greet everyone. There isn't sitting room for everyone, but the room is big enough for his audience. The meeting has now begun...]

[She nods to confirm the Queen's reasoned asssumption, yet her hands remain clasped. Ashe knows the troubled and uncertain future awaiting Rosa in her own world.]

A difficult choice has been offered and yet... I know where I stand.

[ Now knowing what she does of Rasler's future, she's pretty sure she knows Ashe's choice, too. ]

[There is no choice, not where family is concerned. Once, Ashe never thought she could love anything as deeply as her Dalmasca - until Rasler proved her wrong and they had a son together. Recently, they had discussed the future, their mutual wish for another child, and loneliness in a palace full of memories can't compare to Gaia's blessings.]

As do I. I fear there is no place in Ivalice for Rasler, or our son.

I have my family here... as well as friends I wouldn't have otherwise.

Porom has told me that our journey to the moon is successful... and Ceodore confirmed Cecil's recovery. There is nothing for me at home now.

[ She says it rather happily. Much as she loves home and misses Edward, she would rather stay here, with her extended family and her new, close friends. ]

[Ashe also smiles, slight yet genuine. Rosa's words and the revelation of her future are heartening; after all they had discussed, her friend's world at peril, success is reassuring to know of.]

I am glad for you, as well, that you have husband and son with you. Rasler's return was a joyous occasion.

[A sigh escapes, and her hands fall to rest by her sides, posture relaxing somewhat.]

I thought I would never see him again, yet I always maintained hope. He does not remember... yet we will overcome that. He accepted Shain without question.

Your husband is a wonderful person. I am glad he is so accepting. Perhaps someday I may get to know him better.

[ She is so glad Ashelia has Rasler again. She knows what a heavy hit it was to lose him the first time. ]

As do I. He continues to adjust, yet he does so with the greatest commitment.

At first he was quiet, and kept reaching for Rasler to hold him. I think he was almost... seeking assurance that he wouldn't leave again.

Then perhaps... once everything has calmed down a little, Cecil and I will be able to meet with you and Rasler. I am sure our husbands would get along as well.

I'd like that. We travel to Figaro soon, in the hope a familiar place and faces may aid his recovery; I shall reserve time after.

[With a sigh, she exhales, a small smile of her own forming.]

He surprises me in just how aware he is.

I would hope so, for your sake. At least he is here once more. [ She knows that's sometimes enough, especially in Rasler's case. ]

Children grow so quickly. He will show interests in so much before you realize it.

[ She smiles fondly, remembering how it was with Ceodore. ]

I wonder what the future will hold for Shain... for us all, in Gaia.

[Uncertainty is a shared trait in them all, yet at least there will be stability. No more fear of separation, nor the arrival of those who could disturb the peace.]

[ Rosa shakes her head. No one really knows, but they're all looking forward to a time when peace will reign. ]

I wish I knew. All we have is faith that whatever happens will be better than the uncertainty of the last few years.
