For those of you who are of the acquaintance of Captain Basch fon Ronsenburg, this is simply a missive to inform you that his birthday is the seventeenth of this month. He would likely not mention it himself, but I know he would be touched if those who know him took the time time to give him their appreciation. That is all.

I have never actually given anyone a gift. We didn't do much of that where I grew up.

Do you know what sorts of things would be appropriate, then?

A simple gift, something that is useful. And just a thank you of appreciation or some such thing. Perhaps take sometime out of your day to spend Ike with the Captain. I am sure he would appreciate such a gesture.
