For those of you who are of the acquaintance of Captain Basch fon Ronsenburg, this is simply a missive to inform you that his birthday is the seventeenth of this month. He would likely not mention it himself, but I know he would be touched if those who know him took the time time to give him their appreciation. That is all.

It will need to be practical, though, he very much enjoys gifts that are useful. [He restrains the impulse to recommend potholders, but just barely.] Perhaps an accessory that protects against status effects, or a trinket thathold sentimental value. Nothing too flashy or gaudy, mind, he much prefers adornment that is simplistic and spartan.
[He has a small inkling of the relationship this person, whoever they (she) is, has with his brother. And you can't deny that he is a bit invested in his brother's happiness. Also, it will be good advice to those who are wondering the same thing.]
