[Lost within his thoughts for now, the elderly marquis lingers nearby. He may seem a tad distant today, but no worries. Any questions you wish to ask him will be answered promptly.]
[If he's distant, so is Celes. She glances to him more because they are somehow in close proximity with the shifting of the crowd and not because she has anything specific to say or ask of him. However, she does nod politely to him.]
[Ondore almost didn't notice the young general was near until he spotted her golden locks. Offering Celes a faint smile, the marquis greeted her with a slight bow.]
General Chere, greetings! I trust today's meeting has left you feeling somewhat invigorated in your efforts against Garland.
[Daunting? It seems down right impossible to thwart that villainous sorcerer, but Ondore holds his tongue. One day, Garland will be defeated and on that day peace fill finally reign. This is what he honestly believes despite how daunting this quest might be.]
Give us time to asset the matter, and I'm sure he'll fall.
[While he wasn't necessarily in a bad mood, Ondore is rather gloomy today. Although, if anyone asked this he would quickly lie and change the conversation.]
The discussion sits well with me, even if the thought of luring Garland out many not be the best idea for now. There must be something that the villain wants, something to drive him out of hiding.
If we could least do away with him, killing his subordinates shan't be so difficult.
[While she agrees fully with that assessment, she's attempting to err on the side of optimism... for once.]
They all do with time. At least, they have in my experience.
[Kind of anyway. According to Edgar, they defeat Kefka for good, though Celes herself has yet to actually experience that, so she can't say for certain. Still, she has to believe he's right.]
Sewing seeds of discord and disharmony seems to be high on his list for now. [The general crosses her arms over her chest and leans back against the wall.] Maybe he's going about the same thing as last time, but in a different way. Still, knowledge of his goal won't help us as much as knowledge of his means. [Those were what she was looking for, but so far they were crystalless and clueless.]
[Optimism is hard to achieve during such daunting times, isn't it?]
How true. It means nothing to know merely of his goals alone without knowing his means to achieve these goals. This why all my suspicions lingers upon that dreadful vessel that flies high over Madain Sari. If fiends can be called forth from the moon, then perhaps we are getting a glimpse at Armageddon.

[She tries to take in his stance to better guess at his mood.]
What of yourself? I hope the result of the discussion sits well with you.

[He sighed deeply.]
May the Gods be with us.

[She sighs and tucks a chunk of hair behind her ear.]
Most of us have seen the same or worse at home. We don't need a repeat.
