At first inspection it appeared no more than a simple bestiary, thorough those the notations be. It was a reference to Belias which drew my attention. There are beings named Espers by the author. Scions of Light and Dark.

They share names and attributes with the Lucavi.

[He remembered well the conversation he had with Lady Ashe regarding these beings, including the words he shared with Kain regarding a Lucavi named 'Zeromus'. With such talk referring to the Lucavi true forms as tyrannical Espers, this text that Reis has found peaked his interest.]

Who is the author of this text? Are they...do they hail from the Ivalice we both know so well?

Ivalice, yes. However not as we know it. I believe it to be Mjrn's. There are references to places which I know not, yet there are others that are so close that there must be a connection. Ordalia I saw and Goug. Valendia and Jylland also, a Rozzaria and Archades. Know you of these?

The author's name has worn to illegible, as has much of the text.

If so, then the Ivalice Mjrn knows is the Ivalice Lady Ashe knows.
