Date: 2010-03-31 10:50 pm (UTC)He is not insane, Aerith. He came close, but he never quite went over that edge that Cloud so helpfully tried to push him over. Do none of you realize that it would be better were he still sane? Do none of you realize, even for a second, that he is trying?
None of you are here. None of you see him. I'm blind and I still see it.
All you see are these incidents. Accidents. A wing has appeared, Cloud pushed him and he acted upon impulse, but no one, no one, sees that he is trying to not become what you are all pushing him to be. Just so you can be satisfied that you were right all along and have the excuse to come looking and kill him.

Date: 2010-03-31 11:35 pm (UTC)Did you know that Tifa and Cloud were engaged, Genesis? Did you even bother to realize that Cloud was now a father of three? They may not be his children by blood, but Cloud treated them as if they were.
Despite all the hardships Cloud endured, he was given the chance to live a normal life--that is until this began!
We have given Sephiroth many chances to prove to us he wasn't a monster. When he took over Wutai, we of course exchanged words, but in the end, I stepped back and allowed him to do what was right. Sephiroth used to be an icon of respect for everyone in and outside of SOLIDER. He used to be the idol for every little boy who used to have a dream.
Sephiroth was a hero, but now? Now, that has all changed. Someone like you shouldn’t treat Cloud’s death so trivially; especially since you keep demanding for everyone else to respect the man who ruined their lives!

You may have given the dear general chances. But no one else has. His fiance continues to filter her posts from he and I for reasons I still cannot fathom. If she wanted to give him a chance, she would let him go and not treat him as though he were the monster he has yet to become!
DON'T!. Don't you dare use his icon status as an excuse. It doesn't matter what the people viewed him as. What matters is that it is during his heroism that he is simply trying to be just that. A man with few needs and a man who wished to keep away from those who hated him for something he had yet to do.
He hasn't ruined any lives. Not from when he is from. Nethicite produced that wing, pushing his sanity towards that edge that Cloud decided to so lovingly push him off of. Sephiroth was only lucky that I was there to take his hand before he fell and pull him back. Someone like me? Someone like me seems to be the only friend this man has. Angeal and I?
We're the only ones he has. The only ones he needs. But what do you need? Do you need to be dead? To satisfy yourselves in knowing that you took down the man that so ruined your lives despite the glaring fact that he is not the same man that you know? Despite the fact that it is you and your friends who are pushing him to be the very man you want dead and buried? If you want that man, you will need to kill Angeal and I first before you could even speak to Sephiroth.

We are not pushing him to become a monster, he has already done that on his own! Why can’t you realize how difficult it is for everyone to trust him after everything that he has done to us in the future? Do you really think he’ll be any different here on Gaia? No! It’s just going to happen again…

And do you know why it will happen all over again? Because Cloud, you, and the others, will continue to push Sephiroth into believing it so. Does no one realize how fragile his mind truly is? No. Of course not. Because who would want to figure out the mind of a monster.

He never told me, Cloud never told me he was sick too! Tifa would have noticed if he was sick, I cured Denzel when he had Geostigma so Cloud already knew I could cure him too.

Date: 2010-04-01 06:41 pm (UTC)Cloud was sick and dying. He was hurt, angry, and upset. He sees that Sephiroth gets a chance at life while he gets to die. So, he confronts the man, yells at him, blames him, what have you. Who knows who pulled their weapons out first, but in the end, Cloud pushed too far and it caused Sephiroth to nearly snap.
Yes, Cloud Strife is dead. And yes, it was caused by Sephiroth's blade. I am not denying that. But shouldn't you be thinking about why it even happened in the first place? You say Cloud was fine at the ball? That the last time you saw him, he was perfectly healthy and alright?
So was Sephiroth. Only he had much on his mind considering he has a wing now. And do you know what that means? That he was a monster. And a monster only wants one thing. World destruction or domination.
Do you want Sephiroth to become that? Do you want him to try and destroy the world?
He hasn't become a monster. Keep it that way.

Tifa and her hunting party, you and your blindness to the truth, Cloud and his childishness. All of you are creating the monster that you think is going to be created on its own.
If you don't want Sephiroth to kill anymore people, unprovoked or not, then let Angeal and I help him.
