Act X - [Accidental Video] It's just the ghost of me you're seeing

[A rather horrible cracking sound is heard and the video fizzes to life. Of course, it isn't that crystal clear, it continues to static. The image of a brick ceiling is seen before a very familiar silver-haired man comes onto the screen. He sighs and bends down to pick it up.]

Genesis... you should have known better than to throw your phone.

[A huff is heard before Sephiroth notices that the phone is recording. Oh, great]

Don't start, Sephiroth.

[Sephiroth gives a look to Genesis, despite the man not being able to see it. It holds a subtle annoyance before the phone is finally shut off.]

[[OOC: Feel free to say whatever you guys want, no one will answer except Genesis, of which you would have to assume it's a while later. XD Not only that but the GPS will be turned off so no finding them guys.]]

I don't think he is still sane, I know he is! Why don't you actually stop assuming things and think for once?

Cloud was sick and dying. He was hurt, angry, and upset. He sees that Sephiroth gets a chance at life while he gets to die. So, he confronts the man, yells at him, blames him, what have you. Who knows who pulled their weapons out first, but in the end, Cloud pushed too far and it caused Sephiroth to nearly snap.

Yes, Cloud Strife is dead. And yes, it was caused by Sephiroth's blade. I am not denying that. But shouldn't you be thinking about why it even happened in the first place? You say Cloud was fine at the ball? That the last time you saw him, he was perfectly healthy and alright?

So was Sephiroth. Only he had much on his mind considering he has a wing now. And do you know what that means? That he was a monster. And a monster only wants one thing. World destruction or domination.

Do you want Sephiroth to become that? Do you want him to try and destroy the world?

He hasn't become a monster. Keep it that way.

Then you're telling me that Sephiroth cannot be punished or even jailed for killing Cloud all because of his fragile state of mind?

My friend is dead, Genesis! DEAD! Tifa has lost her husband, the children lost their father, and I lost my dearest friend!

Are you seriously going to stand there, and demand that we do nothing?

Because monsters don't have feelings, do they? Because monsters can't have friends. So why should I care for him and Angeal? Ensure that they do not fall into insanity and despair just like they did seven years ago. We are monsters, we have neither dreams nor honor, let alone friendship and feelings.



Fine, do what you will. But I guarantee that you will not find us. I will continue to ensure Sephiroth does not become what you all think he is. And should Cloud return? Listen to him if you won't listen to me. I only prays he tells the truth.

I have no reason to trust you or Angeal, but until Cloud returns--I'll make sure that no one else accidentally ends up dead because of any of you. Cloud's death is difficult enough for everyone to handle, I won't give Sephiroth the chance to hurt another person!

You act as if death is nothing but a minor inconvenience...

Is it because of the Iifa Tree that you treat this matter so lightly, Genesis? What if Cloud never comes back, then what? We simply brush this matter underneath a rug and forget it happened? Is this what you're asking from everyone?

Sephiroth killed a man, this is something you and he both admit.

Oh, Zack never told you about Angeal? I would have assumed he told you about him, given that you were his girlfriend. I thought you would at least trust his friends.



You and your little posse can assume all you want for all I care. Since it is rather obvious that you are all too deep in yourselves to even look and see that it is your actions that are causing all of this.

Tifa and her hunting party, you and your blindness to the truth, Cloud and his childishness. All of you are creating the monster that you think is going to be created on its own.

If you don't want Sephiroth to kill anymore people, unprovoked or not, then let Angeal and I help him.

Or better yet. Leave us alone.
