[Now that her welcome wagon via land and sky have delivered Penelo to Troia, she's taking the time to look around and stock up on supplies. She's happily discovered her gil is accepted currency and determined to be ready for whatever lies ahead. Oddly, faced with the prospect of being on her own and not having to chase after Vaan, she's not entirely sure what to do with herself, aside from begin the process of finding her friends.

Thus, she's browsing the shops, buying only the bare minimum necessary, and pausing to chat with some of the locals.]

[Mjrn's doing the same. She's debating going over to the castle to properly introduce herself to Cecil, but a fit of shyness causes her to wander instead. Thus, she finds the blonde girl rather quickly. A smile forms quickly enough and she quickens her pace to catch up to her.]

[Penelo spots them both, an amused smile on her face. Reks reminds her so much of Vaan right now. She's realized too that Mjrn seems quite close to both him and somehow herself.]

There you are! I'm sorry for wandering off. I wanted to make sure I had enough supplies. You'll want to be off soon, won't you?

[Mjrn pauses before her, a glance and smile backward for Reks before she turns her attention to their friend. She tilts tilts her head at the question, thoughtful.]

There is a hunt on another continent that is of interest to me. Other than this, there were no specific plans. I would not hurry you, if you wish to linger.

[Rydia doesn't particularly need anything in the shops, but she doesn't have anything better to do at the moment. Hence, the green-haired woman wanders in and out of them, just chatting with shopkeepers and customers when they aren't busy.

Upon entering one, she perks up a little and waves at Penelo.]

[Penelo's busy debating if she should pick up just one more potion or not. Pick up, examine, put down. Repeat. It's not that much more gil, but until she figures out how she's going to make a living now, every one counts.

When greeted she glances over and waves in return. Everyone certainly is friendly!]

[Rydia shakes her head.]

Not at all. I'm just roaming around town while I have the time.

[The lack of recognition is apparent, which gels with what she was told earlier. Oh well, time for introductions then.]

[She's starting to become used to people recognizing her, but it's rude not to introduce yourself.]

I like it very much. It reminds me of some of the places I've seen.

[One of those people spots her, recognizes her for someone who isn't normally there and walks over. Rosa's actually feeling good enough to make it out and about today.]

[Penelo turns at the sound of a friendly voice and smiles at both.]

I think I'm fine. I was curious what this was used for.

[She picks up a gourd potato from Fum. Unusual food she's never seen. The temptation to cook it is rising.]

I don't think it's a native of Gaia, nor is it native of Troia. I haven't tried to do anything with it. Were you thinking of cooking it?

[Still quite unwilling to linger within the castle for too long, Edward made his way towards the town in hopes of seizing the day. Roaming towards the town square, the bard settles down in front of a nearby shop with his lute stretched across his lap. Taking a moment to tune it's strings, Edward begins to play a few notes.]

[Penelo's nearby when she hears the sound of music starting up. She heads in that direction, intent on listening. The style of music is different than that played in Dalmasca but it's beautiful enough to make her feel at home in a strange place.

Rather than interrupt Edward, she nods at him, then places her collection of purchases to the side. Then without a care for who might be looking, she begins to dance, as if she were back in the bazaars.]

[Looking quite pensive as he played, Edward was jolted out of his thoughts once he spotted something yellow from the corner of his eyes. For some reason he immediately associate that glimmer of amber to be associated with another but once he saw that streak of yellow belonged to Penelo's brightly colored hair, a slight blush settled upon his cheeks.]

'It's her...' [He thought to himself in silence once the girl began to twirl about. Chuckling softly, Edward continued a delightfully haunting melody to correspond with the dancer's movements. It was a song that many in Damcyan were fond of, a cheerful tune (http://www.emclute.com/download/luteduo/12lagall.mp3) that could easily win the smile of any passersby nearby.]

[Penelo quickly adapted along to the tune, pacing her movements to the music around her, and becoming lost in the moment. A small gathering of townsfolk began to cluster around both performers, although the dancer was unaware of their presence. Only when the song concluded did she stop, with her head dipping modestly in response.]

[Her scarf she settled around her shoulders for the time, using it's thin covering to block the chill around her. While the nearing spring was warming the air, it was still quite cool compared to her native sands.]

[Penelo turns from where she's browsing and smiles. From all appearances she doesn't seem to recognize the speaker, but she's happy to respond nonetheless.

Surprise surprise, her disappearance wrought changes. She looks older and more mature, with longer hair and more mature (and revealing) clothing.]

[For a split second, something feels familiar, and then just as quickly, the sensation vanishes.]

That's what I've been told, but I don't remember it. [Have another smile just to soften that.] I'm really sorry.

[Penelo's been spending a lot of her time apologizing lately for not remembering being here before. It makes her feel bad for all these wonderful people she's meeting.]
