[Having slipped outside, Rinoa has found a flat rock to sit on. The entrance to Matoya's cave can just be seen some distance behind her. She clears her throat, because this is going to take some explaining.]

Hi, everyone. If you don't know me, my name's Rinoa. I have a message for any Sky People who want to go home.

You can. It's dangerous, but it is possible.

That's why I'm here. Matoya summoned us to help her. Me, because I'm a Sorceress. And my friends Ellone and Marlene, because they can use time magic.

[She pauses. This is a prepared speech, but she has to think for a moment before she moves on.]

What we're gonna do is... We're gonna rip a hole in time and space for anyone who wants to go home. You need to come here, to Matoya's cave, for us to send you. We can't stop Garland's spell. Only the myrrh can do that. Everything's still shifting and merging - there are so many overlapping timelines, it's a big mess already - but here, working together, we can make a rip and control it enough to send you where you want to go.

I have to say... It's bad, what we're doing. Every rip we create is gonna destabilise everything even further and if we make too many... The whole world is gonna collapse. Not just Gaia. My world, your world... everywhere.

That's why we can't send everyone back. We can only do a few, I'm not sure how many exactly, but if you wanna go, you should come sooner rather than later because I don't know how long we can keep doing this. But we're here, so if we can help even a few people who most need to go back, it's worth it. We're ready for you.

[ooc: Anyone who wants to send any characters home, you can now do so! You can thread them leaving at this post.]

I don't know if you've seen it yet, but Rinoa says there's a way to go home. I think I'm going to take it.

[She takes a deep breath, because this is a hard thing to decide and it's even harder to say.]

But I'm not going back to Ivalice. I don't really have anything there, not anymore.

[Her head drops and she falls silent while thinking about how to explain this. When that's decided, she lifts her head with determination.]

A long time ago, I told Edward if we had a choice, I'd go home with him. I know he's not here anymore and I know it's dangerous, but I want to keep that promise. He may not know me anymore or remember anything...

I don't want him to be alone. If I can be there, that will be enough for me.

[Eiko's in full-on sulk mode. She didn't get in trouble for showing up in the big important meeting, but she's still quite grounded. Not allowed to help with the Water Shrine, not allowed to go beat up on Garland. No phone. No friends. Lots and lots of essays. Being grounded sucks. The stubborn child is refusing to do any more word problems and has run off her tutor with a screaming tantrum. There was a comment that she was far too old behave that way as a parting shot and it made her madder. Why did everyone treat her like a kid all the time?

With no idea that she's about to have more "child" treatment coming, she's sitting in the lap of a
winged Eidolon by her window, looking out over the city. She loves this one, possibly more than any of the others, but misses Rishfee and his stories.]

[Having stayed strong in front of Celes so as to not worry her had taken its toll on him. He was physically and mentally exhausted. Not wishing to sleep, he meandered his way to his favorite tree and sat there contemplating his plight.]

[It broke him dearly to realize that she had never thought he would return and forgot him. In times past he would have run, but life had shown him that running wasn't the answer. He had to stay and not mope so that he could be there when she needed him. He just couldn't bear to watch anything bad happen to her, because he was being reckless and selfish]

[He had loved and lost in the past, but still Celes hadn't said it was over. Not being versed in love as Edgar was he was unsure exactly what to make of everything and probably never would. He couldn't really talk to his friends about any of this either: Edgar would tell him to find another woman, Setzer had always thought Celes shouldn't waste her time with him, Sabin wouldn't understand, Relm was just a kid, and he couldn't burden Terra like that. Normally he'd talk to Celes about such things, but he couldn't very well talk to her about that when she needed to sort things out.]

[He sat there most of the day staring out into the open. Much later, he was able to sort through more of his recently regained memories. As he acquired the memories of his Gaian friends, he felt horrible that he had worried them as well so he composed himself as best he could and contacted them one by one.]
