[The Marquis' sky phone turns on after he accidentally knocked it off the table. He's usually not this clumsy, but today he seems to be very busy. Perhaps it's because he's planning to go three different places in four days, not to mention he also has a meeting to plan.]

First thing is first, I must make way to Costa Faguita. Five-hundred thousand gil in supply should be enough to ensure the welfare of the locals, however, I am more than prepared to usher forth another one hundred thousand in case. As for my next stop, I must visit Lindblum briefly and greet a few acquaintances if anything. Then I must make way to Narshe soon...

[Halim reaching for his planner, the Marquis was just about to jot all of this down until he saw the date upon the calendar. Pausing for about a moment or two, a deep sigh came from Halim followed by a humored laugh.]

...Fifty-six, isn't? I do believe I'm officially and old man today. I suppose this is the part of my life where I start lying about my age.

(ooc: Happy Birthday Halim!)

[Ruby's eyes twinkle with joy. Her cheeks are rosy with laughter even behind her powder.]

S'been far too long since we had good news that weren't bittersweet. Somethin' to really celebrate.

So tonight, all of Lindblum - an' you skyfolk too! We drink to the young prince's health! An' to the prosperity of our Regency! We drink to the close friends we lost and to the new friends we made! We drink to our world an' to all the worlds of our skyfolk friends!

[Her smile becomes more of a smirk. She is maybe just a little too willing to suggest plans that involve lots of alcohol.]

An' then tomorrow we wish our hangovers on all them villains that would threaten 'em!

May Cid Fabool X live a long and happy life!

[Action, in Tantalus' Hideout]

[Ruby tosses a scrunched up ball of paper at Blank's head to get his attention. Yes she could have probably just said 'hey, Blank?' but that would be too easy. And she wouldn't have gotten to throw things at people.]

Whad'ya think of lookin' fer more performers? Won't never be the same as havin' the boys back but at least we'll be on the stage again if we get a troupe together. Can't go lettin' people forget the name Tantalus.

Lowell might be gettin' the idea he's better'n us, after all.

ooc: ANYONE WANT TO DO A 'CELEBRATE THE PRINCE'S BIRTH WITH BOOZE AND LOTS OF IT' LOG?

[The dawn was just breaking when Selphie landed the Ragnarok and let Aerith off at the airship dock in Luca. It hadn't taken her long to maneuver from the dock into the city, taking a more scenic route toward her home and the home of her friends. It was nice to see the beach in the morning sunlight, the colors of the sky changing and reflecting off the water. She didn't see things like this when she lived in Midgar.

She stopped at her flowershop on the way through, leaving a note of thanks for Yuna on the door. Twice now she had left the shop in Yuna's hands without warning. It seemed so unfair, but Aerith was touched that she'd worked so hard to keep things running in her absence. It was a friendship she'd grown to cherish.

She really needed to do something for her, to show her gratitude.

Aerith turned, heading toward her street where she was sure everyone was still asleep. She didn't mind; sitting outside as the sun rose until someone woke up didn't seem such a bad idea.

[OOC: Selphie, if you wanted to tag/log the airship trip, let me know :)]

[Guess who's playing voice re-arrangement again, this time it's a young boy's voice]

Dearest Queen of Alexandria...

I sincerely hope that your death wasn't too much of an inconvenience for you, after all you are a busy woman with her priorities set in motion, her fate bound to that of her city, her country.

But humor me, humor this poor fool for a moment. Did you meet the reaper? Did you meet the one who took your soul away only to place it back, back at that meddlesome tree this planet is fond of? Did you look into the face of death?

Or did you see a God's throne, empty, without a deity there. A void that requires someone to fill it.

I wonder dearest Queen.

One might also wonder about this...girl who killed you...what was her name...[Hmmm] AH YES! Rinoa...

You see eliminating me from all information is fun for a while, but like anything held back, certain things tend to leak, tend to trickle in. and feed a man such as my self.

I do wonder if she was possessed at all? Perhaps her so called "enemies" are her friends as well. If I was you...well...if I was you I'd be a woman and a coward!

[Laughs, that laugh HIGHLY recognizable]

But, if I were you, I'd be wary of these..."Sky People" I mean if one group of them almost caused chaos spreading everywhere...what's to say the others won't?

[A chuckle] Food for thought I suppose.

[The screen is shaking a little, as Terra turns it on. She's atop the roof of Figaro Castle, and if there's any doubt that she has failed to hear any rumors about her, one look at that face of hers destroys such a notion immediately. It's obvious she's fighting to keep calm, which isn't easy given that one of her fears just came to life.]

It's not true. What killed Cecil...I'm not related to that. That Esper was from Ivalice, not my world. And...Figaro is my home now. I wouldn't turn on it or anyone here.

[Her voice trembles a bit at the end, and she quickly shuts off the video feed. For a while, she avoids most of her usual haunts in the castle; the roof, the library, her bedroom. She heads over to watch Edgar's moogles at work, but even that isn't enough to lift her spirits. So, as inconspicuously as she can, Terra's departing the castle. She's certainly not going into town after that, but maybe some wandering would clear her head....]

[The market is crowded as it ever is. Relm had been fairly inconspicuous until just now, mostly because she was deliberately hiding so she could draw people without them noticing. Spotting a market stall selling interesting and delicious-looking fruit tarts, she picks up her phone to ask Terra and Celes if they want her to pick one up.

Only just as she starts dialling, a passer-by says something. She drops the phone and, through the power of contrived coincidence, it starts broadcasting the ensuing scene to the world. Anyone else in the market may notice the scene as it starts because Relm can be pretty difficult to ignore.

A small girl emerges from underneath a covered stall, rising to her full and unimpressive height and standing resolutely in the path of a full grown man, glaring at him. Her first few words are drowned out by his demand that she get out of his way. Which only prompts her to raise her voice.]

-More like the Ruler of Troia was killed by that green-haired YOUR FACE's own kind. Do you even know who you're talking about, moron? Keep your mouth shut if you're just gonna use it to tell people dumb lies.

[He starts to respond with something that's more than a little unsuitable for a 10 year old's ears. Or that would be more than a little unsuitable except that said 10 year old pokes him firmly in the ribs mid-sentence, drowning him out with her own louder, higher-pitched stream of vulgarities. Who teaches kids that kind of language?]

[After a good long while of struggling with the moogles and the device they had pushed into his hands (and the fact that he can't hear a single thing they're obviously trying to say and explain to him), Cecil manages to get a message typed out on it. With their help of course and reading the messages they type out for him as explanation to read on their own little devices.

His message is brief and straight to the point.
]

My name is Cecil Harvey. The moogles have been most helpful since I arrived. They also tell me that I'm no longer in the Void. Tidus? Firion? Cloud?

Is there anyone there who can confirm such speculation?

[The silence is deafening, and he can speak just fine but he can't hear his own voice, only feel it. It's unnerving and so Cecil chooses to stick with typing out messages to the moogles instead of speaking for the time being.]

[Delita steps off the airship and looks around. He finds it extremely ironic to land here when normally he would simply take a ship but Lady Ashelia suggested he take the airship.

He was pleased to see that the city appeared largely the way it did last time he visited in Ivalice.

He scouts out the city before heading towards the agreed to point.]

[There is the distinct noise of things being thrown around and crashing. It's not Vaan's doing, really. It's-]

PENELO! Calm down, will you?!

[Maor banging. Vaan is talking to the Gaians now.]

Guys, really? Why would you start a rumor like that? That's just gross, she like... like my sister! So, whoever wrote that, knock it off! Do you know what it's like when she's mad? She's-

[A mix between a growl and a gasp. He's torn between terrified and angry.]

Penelo, put that down, NOW!

Aagghhh!! EDWARD, would come and calm your girlfriend down!?

[Static fizzes on the image for a moment until the ruins of Zanarkand flicker into view. The sky is full of stars, the water reflecting them. As the shot pans slowly, the ruined Blitzball Dome comes into view and the pyreflies shimmer brighter than any star, swarming around the screen for a moment.]

Hm... swarming as always.

[A fair distance away, Lenne is stood watching the sky and Shuyin laughs faintly.] Isn't that a beautiful sight?

[The phone finally settles on Shuyin's face and he's walking, further away from Lenne to find his way to a certain hill.]

To those of you after the Wind Crystal, it is safely with the Regent. Hunt him if you so wish but I will not be kind to anyone who dares to attack Lenne or I for it.

[Finally standing on the hill, he looks out over Zanarkand.] It looks better this way. [The image focuses on Zanarkand, the destroyed buildings in the shimmering water and eventually the feed cuts.]

[Screen is tilted at an angle where two other SeeD members are trying to get Irvine off of a table. Irvine is holding a bottle in his hand and isn't exactly in a good mood and his words are slurred. The voice and video come in on the middle of the scene]

-EEL LIKE I'M THE KING OF GAIA! WOOO!

Irvine please calm down!

Why? We're stuck on this planet, everyone hates us now! Why should I calm down!?

Come on Irvine things aren't that bad, what about whe-

Bah! [Almost falls off the table] Whoa...I-I...Guys, guys...GUYS...I think...I had too much to drink.

[Sigh] Come on Irvine we'll take you back to your room

You know I had a girlfriend here on Gaia...cute thing...she's gone now

We know Irvine, we all knew!

YOU DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING! But hey, remember the one thing about women! Women are-

[The SeeD picks up the sky phone and flicks it off. Crucial timing]

[OOC: So...Irvine's drunk guys...and he will respond to your answers, drunk...HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE fun with that]

[This on the screen is Raine. This is Raine who is about six months pregnant and hormonal. This is Raine who is pregnant, hormonal and PISSED OFF. She overheard some of the rumors and speculation going around and she is markedly not happy. It takes her two or three attempts to turn the phone on and decide just what she wants to say, although each time her blue eyes are snapping with fire. At last she settles on something in her I-am-not-amused-do-not-mess-with-me voice.]

My marriage and husband's age is nobody's business but ours.

[After that, she just slams the phone shut so she can fume and pace around the room.]

[The airship ride hadn't been so bad, mostly because he'd been busy most of the way. He'd made a deal with a cargo ship's captain to work on board it as payment for travelling with it. The last few hours of the journey had been dedicated to sleep, he'd had about three hours when the airship landed and he got kicked off.

As promised, it is indeed before the sunrise. The sky is just turning orange as he wanders through the empty streets, realizing he has no idea where Terra actually lives.

In an uncharacteristically sensible move, he calls her using the skyphone.]
