[The image flickers on to show Shuyin, slightly to the side and from behind, wearing only his shorts, since it's pretty hot in Wutai. His hand half covers the screen for a moment before he shifts again, stretching his arms above his head. He draws his feet out of the water, crossing his legs beneath him as he sits watching the horizon.

After a few moments, he starts humming a tune. Summoners would recognise it as the Hymn of The Fayth, but it wasn't always that.]

Ughh... gotta get that stupid song out of my head! [He shakes his head, though he doesn't move for a few more moments and begins humming again. He catches himself, sighing at the stupid song that won't go away.]

All their fault... them and their stupid machina war. Never wanted to be a soldier anyway...

[Shuyin lets out a frustrated noise and rests back on his hands, looking at the sky. After a few more moments, he starts singing the words, pausing after only half a verse.]

Aaghh!! [Giving up on getting it out of his head, he dives into the ocean, the surface of water going still for the remainder of the feed.]

[Have a sheepish looking Locke checking in with his friends. He looks a little sheepish after Edgar got through with him. He pauses before responding to rub his bandana.]

[Look who's back! Regent Cid is sitting on his throne with Mikoto perched on the step beside him.]

Greetings! I am delighted to announce that the party who journeyed into Terra have returned! I'm sure that each one will be telling their own stories, but if you could recount the main points, Mikoto... Both good and bad.

[Mikoto nods, facing the camera as she speaks.]

Terra was a desolate wasteland, as we expected. But it was not abandoned... We found new Genomes there, as well as those who had been kidnapped by Kuja. They have all safely returned with us, and I shall take them back to the village. 

We encountered Garland in Pandemonium, but were unable to defeat him... Kuja is no longer Garland's only puppet. He has created a new Angel of Death, Lufene, who told us that he has gone to the Chaos Shrine.

We fought Lufene in Bran Bal, but before we were able to defeat her, she absorbed power from a triad of magical statues and we were forced to flee. Serah and Genesis were killed in the battle. The last we saw of Terra, it was being utterly destroyed by Lufene. I do not believe that it is possible to return there now. The rest of us were lucky to escape with our lives. 

[There's a pause as Mikoto stops abruptly. Cid steps forward to sweep an arm around her shoulder. Mikoto doesn't look like she appreciates this.]

You weren't lucky, Mikoto. You were magnificent. Garland may not be gone, but we've learned a lot. We must make plans for our next step, but for now: a feast! You deserve it! I would also like to take this opportunity to invite all those who have returned from Terra to the Festival of the Hunt tomorrow. You've arrived just in time.

[Mjrn's voice sounds as weary as any who shared the weeks-long journey to Terra. She
mainly thinks of Fran and Penelo while recording her words, though leaves it open for any friends and acquaintances.]

Sister, Penelo...I have returned. I am well, as are Edward and Vivi. There is much to discuss, and that I wish to learn, of what has transpired since my departure last month.

My friends, I hope you are well and that I may hear your voices soon.

[When Blank returns to the hideout, it certainly doesn't look like it's been abandoned for a month. There's little to say who's been there recently but there's no dust and the little damage that was done during the attack's been covered or repaired.

Also? As he enters, he might notice that his knife is gone. He did have it just a second ago...

Ruby herself sits outside, perched on an undamaged part of the wall opposite the hideout. She hums to herself, using the aforementioned knife to peel an apple and pretending to have been there the whole time.]
