[Vincent is perched up somewhere high, probably on a roof, with a slight breeze pulling at his hair and cloak. At first, he isn't quite paying attention to his Sky Phone, and is more talking to himself.]

"All that awaits you is a somber morrow, No matter where the winds may blow..."  Hmph.

[After a few seconds of silence, he finally turns his attention to the video.]

Since Highwind seems disinclined to do this himself, I suppose I should make this announcement. Highwind Mechanics is, and has been open for business in Lindblum for a time. We are equipped to both fix technologies present in this world, from more mundane things to airships, and also to create or fix more advanced technologies. The shop is located [address here] and the hours are [hours here]. Please come by, or contact me or Cid Highwind if you have any questions.

[And with that, Vincent leaves the roof without jumping down this time! and ends the message.]

[OOC: Anyone in Lindblum who wants to can consider this an action post, and stop by to visit the shop! I don't know if Cid Highwind will show up, but Vincent is certainly available for poking, since I know some of you mentioned wanting to have characters interact him, in the Love Meme. Sorry it took so long for me to follow up.]

[The audio clicks on, no doubt from the fact that Laguna is trying to squeeze the life out of his phone!]

Oh c'mon! I'm not asking you to go fight a war! Just a few people to come with me and check this out! People are having trouble getting in and out of Dali because of this thing and it won't move! Maybe we could actually figure out what is making it so aggressive.

Sir Loire, that is just not an option. Besides, they can make use of the cargo ship if they really had to make a trip here.

That's not the point! That cargo ship would cost money and there are plenty of people here who definitely cannot afford that ship. And traveling is simply much easier for them!

I am not giving you my men, Loire and that is final!

[Laguna growls softly, though barely one can here, "I am SO too old for this. Even kids are more cooperative than this guy"]

Excuse me?

Nothing! Have a good day.

[The sound of a door slamming before more angry mutterings. He finally lets go of the phone, the recording being shut off.]

[Cid does not look like a happy camper. Not at all. His sword is essentially lodged somewhere in the lower wall in the background of the screen, difficult to see unless you look closely.]

Rygdea. Ms. Farron. Your next sword lesson will need to be...postponed. I will notify the two of you as to when.

[He looks as if he's about to say something else, but goes to shut the camera off instead, grumbling under his breath.]

Greetings, citizens and people of Gaia.

As you know, over the past year many people and places from strange and distant lands have shown up in Gaia. Not only that, but all too often Gaia has been besieged by monsters. We have gained and lost so much... All this is the work of a man called Garland. He himself is from another world, a world called Terra, and it is his intention to merge the two worlds so that Gaia will become Terra.

Don't worry. We won't let that happen. I have a plan to find and stop Garland, but I need your help.

We have been unable to locate Garland anywhere on Gaia. It is my belief that he is currently hiding out on Terra. There is a way to get to Terra from this world, but it's not easy. First, we have to take the four elemental mirrors into the Earth, Fire, Wind and Water Shrines, and place them back where they belong simultaneously. Once we've done that, the gateway to Terra will open at the Shimmering Island, and we can fly in on an airship.

I have the mirrors and I'll provide the airships to take volunteers to the shrines and into Terra. But first, I need volunteers. You must be able to come to Lindblum by July 31st. We set off at the beginning of August. It will be a dangerous trip. The shrines are full of obstacles, and probably guarded by fierce monsters. We don't even know if there is anything left of Terra after it was destroyed. That's why I need a variety of capable fighters, healers and mages. This isn't grunt work. This is a mission vital to Gaia's future - and to the future of the Sky People.

We must prove equal to this task.
