Date: 2010-02-04 10:13 pm (UTC)There was this place I went to in the time I was missing from Gaia. It's just a Void... but Garland was there. He fought in a war on the side of Chaos... and I fought for the Goddess Cosmos.
A lot of people who are in Gaia, from other worlds, were there too but the only person who seems to remember even anything besides me is Tidus... And that's not much to go on.
What do you know about Garland, Eiko?

He made the Genomes to put Terra's souls into, but when Kuja went crazy and destroyed that world, we brought all the Genomes here. Kuja kicked Garland off a cliff, but Zidane was talking to him in Memoria. He was thousands of years old and was the guy who blew up Alexandria and Madain Sari...
[There's a soft sigh. Memoria hasn't been kind to her this time around.]

If Garland did all that... why did Kuja go crazy? Because he was just a puppet to hold someone elses soul? Sounds familiar... Zidane's a Genome too, right? That's why they both look like they do, hm?

Yeah, Kuja was involved... Garland gave him and Zidane and Mikoto souls. Kuja and Zidane were supposed to kill everyone on Gaia. But when Kuja found out he was gonna die, he went nuts and destroyed Terra and tried to destroy the Crystal.

Eiko, there was about a month where I was missing from Gaia. Tifa told me I just vanished one day, then I came back. In that time, I went to a place we just called the Void.
Garland and Kuja are both alive there... I don't know if Kuja died here... but I know Garland did. He wasn't dead in the Void. I'm not sure but think it's him that's causing everything weird on Gaia.
