So, I have heard the people here call the Espers here, "Eidolons", and I was wondering if that is one of the names they go by in other worlds?  Do you call them something else in your world?

[And there is an awkward pause before he speaks again.]

And do the summoners from other worlds have horns on their heads?

[Serah looks contemplative. She can talk around this, right? They're all safe here, right now. So she won't change that beyond answering his question.] Where I'm from... they were called Eidolon's too. They came to you when you were in great need.

... and those who could summon didn't have horns. There seem to be some here who do, though. On Gaia in particular: a lot of books I've read say the Summoner tribe all had horns.

Yes, I read those books as well. I was just wondering if other places had summoners like that, too.

[Serah nods, slowly.] I suppose it was when... you needed to be saved, to overcome despair. To be reminded of what you needed to do. That's when they all came.

[Now she looks interested.] You have? That's good. Books truly are wonderful at giving us information.

Maybe they do, y'know? Some do, some don't...

In the situation, yes, I'd imagine so... [She looks a little sombre.] ... but, to have the strength to continue, that at least... that's a blessing.

[She nods, then smiles again.] Many of my friends love adventure... it's rare to find someone who's interested in books, too.

Yes, although many people nowadays don't seem to be interested in reading books. It's quite sad.

[She nods.] Mm. I kind of wish more people were, sometimes...tThere's so much information availiable to us, if only we look. So many books about the world we find ourselves suddenly in.

I've heard something about a library in Gaia, but I haven't seen it yet.
