He had done a quick look over what he had on his person when he first arrived but it seemed that people were 'used' to people who didn't have a clue why they were there. How many times have they tried to make a life here only for it to be taken away? Tifa's almost given up hope that he might actually remain in Gaia - and with her choice to stay here herself, she's also resigned herself to the fact that she might never see him again. So to see him now creates such a strong feeling of mingled hope, relief and anxiety.
But first she has to find out what he knows.]
