CECIL'S PARTY
[ It had really been Lilisette's idea, and she had been instrumental in getting it all planned out and running. Rosa was grateful to the girl's diligence and cheer, willing to help out wherever needed. The courtyard of the castle was set up with decorations and refreshments, and tables and chairs had been set up as well, in case people wanted to sit down for a little bit. The castle was also being decorated, so people could also wander around if they wanted to as well.
For her part, Rosa had sent Cecil on set duties for the day, periodically checking up on him to be sure he was doing all right and to be sure he wasn't planning on going back before they were ready.
Eventually, everything was prepared, the guests were due to arrive shortly, and Rosa was on her way to fetch her husband. ]
Cecil?
[ ooc: party style! tag in wherever and have fun. the main area is the courtyard, but there's also the castle to mingle in. so feel free to mingle around! ]

It's nice to meet you Frimelda, I'm Edge!
[A quick glance to the servant yields an order.]
Find a red dress for our guest. [The servant stands a little hesitant at the paladin's remarks, but that doesn't deter Edge.] Quickly. It's late enough as it is. [which sent the servant scurrying.]
[He hoped red would suffice, because he wasn't about to offer Rydia's color.]
It's no trouble at all.

It seems that this will be so...
Though, perhaps this is best.
[It's more of a mutter to herself, as she's looking at her hands, and an assurance. Her voice is loud enough to at least be picked up by Edge, though. It is perhaps only that her armour is definitely making her stand out from the other guests, and she doesn't wish to leave the party without speaking to Cecil at least once that she has not bolted and/or chased down the servant.
Besides, said servant was already returning, a burgandy (http://burgundy-bridesmaid-dress.wed-ding.co/wp-content/uploads/burgundy-bridesmaid-dress-sale-1.jpg) dress draped over their arms, heading back in their general direction, holding it out towards Edge for appraisal.]

Don't worry. You'll look beautiful.
[He smiles broadly with the return of the servant. He really doesn't know much about dresses, but it looks pretty to him.]
Good choice. See to her every need.
[He gave Frimelda a quick wink.]
If you need anything else, let me know!

It's probably about fifteen minutes later when Frimelda reappears in the courtyard, prodded and poked and dress pinned into place and the familiarity of her armour gone, taken away to some other room, someplace. She's not alone, either, as the servant is practically having to drag her along due to her nervousness and embarassment - the pink is clear on her cheeks - and also her inability to walk far in the footwear that was provided.]

Frimelda!
[He motions that the gleeful servants can return to their previously neglected duties with a quick note of appreciation. He's also feeling rather smug and impressed with himself so much that if he wasn't married, he might not leave the woman's side the entire night.]
[He offers his hand all gentlemanly.]
That's more like it!

It... it is a nice dress. [Of the little she knows of them.] I am sure there are those who would do it more justice than I... [But she did have a moment of surprise that it did suit her when she saw herself in a mirror, so, it's more thought than a put down.]

Nonsense. It was made for you. You can keep it.

No trouble. Cecil has plenty of dresses.

... I suppose that is so. Then, I... [She fumbles.] ... thank you, Edge. I am grateful.

You're welcome!
Make sure you have fun tonight.
