[When the video starts up, it's inside the cabin of an airship. A personal one, by the looks of it, with a bed. The one taking the video seems to be lying on said bed, and the video is angled sideways. There is a little blond baby sleeping under a much smaller blanket, the end of a fuzzy blond tail poking out from underneath. Garnet's hand reaches into the frame to adjust the blanket, before turning the phone around to face herself. She's lying on her back, with her hair spread out on the comforter. She looks... maybe a little sleepy, and she talks very softly.]

I just wanted to thank everyone, for their hospitality and well wishes the past few weeks. Words can't really express my gratitude, but, I thought I should try, none-the-less. Everything has worked out wonderfully, and I'm almost sad to be going home. I'm glad that we were at least able to make it for the wedding in Luca. [she smiles] Tidus, Yuna, if I didn't say it enough before, congratulations. I hope everything goes well for you. You both deserve it.

[She pauses, eyes drifting to the side. Is Amber awake--? Hm, no, but she can't seem to stop checking. another brief reach out of the frame, before she turns her attention back to the video.] We should be arriving in Alexandria soon. Another hour, maybe. I can't believe it's been a month since we left. So much has happened... so much is still happening. I wonder, if anyone I know has decided to leave, or how much longer that portal is going to be open. [She shifts] I hope that if any of you decide to leave, you'll say goodbye first. [and then, a yawn] But I think I'll say good bye for now. I really shouldn't waste this opportunity for a nap.

I'm not going. I almost wondered if I'd change my mind before it closes, but I really don't see that happening. Gaia is my home for good, now.

I'm glad. I'm sorry, that you won't get to see it ever again, but... I'm glad to have you in my life. You know, I never had any girl-friends before. Not really. Eiko's more of a little sister.

That's good news! I knew I could count on you. [then, her expression slips a little, as she shifts baby Amber in her arms] ...but... we need more than that, don't we?

[A nod.] We need three! I am planning to regroup and begin our search for the next tree.

[The baby gurgles and he pauses, distracted. More softly:] Is she well?

[She nods in response to his plan, obviously approving. But, when he's distracted... well, it's not hard to distract her lately, especially when it comes to the little one. She follows his gaze downward, smiling.]

Yes. She slept most of the way back from Luca. [and Garnet moves the blanket a little, exposing little hands. Then, she shifts the baby again to let Steiner get a better look at her. Garnet's a proud new mom, and she'll take every opportunity to show off her little pride and joy, even if she doesn't realize what she's doing.]

[After she makes her broadcast, Zidane slips into the cabin quietly, knowing that Dagger was likely worn out. He was, too, but in a happy way - even saving the world had been less busy than fatherhood. He doesn't say anything, but lies down on the bed behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her back a little to nestle into him, his tail wrapping around her leg and a smile on his face.]

[She's half-way to sleeping, until he snuggles up next to her. She doesn't mind the disturbance though. She sighs sleepily, and then turns her head to look back at him.] You want a nap too? [and she puts her arms over his.]

I want you. [His voice is definitely a little rough with want there - real want - but he's smiling.] A nap would be good, though. She definitely got your lungs.

[She's going to ignore that tone, for now. She's not terribly amused by his remark either, and she gently elbows him in the ribs ] At least she's sleeping now... [she absentmindedly rubs his arm with her thumb] I'll be so glad when she's fallen into more of a routine.

It must be hard to leave them behind... But I'm sure they will find a way to thrive. We put so much importance on our position as leaders... But there are many individuals with the strength to rule.

[she smiles]. Maybe someday, our children can play together.
