[Action at Skysea/Backdated before Ronkan Ruins]

[While waiting for Porom and Warrior of Light to arrive, Ceodore and Ursula are spending time at the beach, using impending guests as an excuse to put off more business-based matters. The princess seems content where she's at, laying on a blanket and asleep as best the princeling can tell. For his part, he's in a light shirt and shorts, playing with their puppy who's aggressively trying to yank a stick out of Ceodore's hands.

Once Ceodore frees the stick from puppy teeth he throws it down the beach and the pup bounds off after it, more bouncing than running. But the little guy is easily distracted, stopping midway to bark at Ursula. Once the barking fails to rouse her, face licking commences.]

You know, I don't think she's going to like that.

[Mere barking could never wake Ursula. When she's asleep, she's asleep and it's not easy to rouse her. However, the face-licking is registered after a few moments and she surfaces to consciousness slowly.]

[Ceodore scoops up the bundle of wiggles and gets his own assault of puppy kisses.]

You're not burnt, I hope.

[Unlike himself who's already got a pretty good sunburn developing.]

[Ursula wipes at her face and sits up, blinking drowsily.]

I don't think so...but you seem to be on the way.

[She looks him over when her eyes focus, wincing a little. That's going to hurt.]

Huh?

[He doesn't feel like he's burning. And in this light, it's hard to tell if he is or not.]

Sorry to wake you. I didn't think you'd want to miss Porom.

[He'll certain feel it later. Ursula sits up and stretches, then gets to her feet.]

No, definitely not.

[She brushes herself off, then glances down the beach.]

We should head toward the airship docks. Even if they're already here, at least we can meet them halfway.

[And being a polite guy, he holds his arm out to Ursula to hold on the way. The puppy is comfortably hooked in the other, even if it's wiggling to get down for romping.]

[The fight against Lufene took more out of her than she'll readily admit. Leaving the crystal behind was already far more strenuous mentally and emotionally than it really needed to be. Restoring the damage that Lufene had done and then healing Leonora on top of that-

Long story short, she's exhausted. As a result, she's spent almost the entirety of the airship journey sleeping, leaning against whatever happened to be there.

[He basically hasn't moved the entire airship journey. He's realized just how much Porom needed that rest, and he doesn't want to disturb her until they get there. The only thing he's moved enough to do is unfasten his cape and drape it over her shoulders- she was still slightly damp from the Water Shrine when they set out.

But now they're approaching the Skysea, so it's probably time for her to be woken up. He reaches with his other hand to touch her shoulder gently.]

Porom.

[Tired or not, she's a fairly light sleeper. It doesn't take that much effort to wake her. Still, it takes her a few moments to mentally catch up on the situation. During which she seems confused by everything. She touches the cape in bewilderment before realizing quite what is going on.]

...what- oh! Did I-? I'm sorry!

[He shakes his head.] It seemed that you needed the rest. I did not mind, but we will be arriving shortly.

[She smiles, though her cheeks are quickly turning the same colour as her hair.]

[He looks slightly surprised by the blush, but smiles slightly in return.]

You are welcome. Do you feel better, now that you have rested?

[She nods]

I do. I think I was more tired than I realized.

You faced both Lufene and the Water Shrine. It is understandable.

It's done now, at least. I'm...glad. That the crystal's somewhere safe.

[He pauses, then glances outward.] We have arrived, it seems.

Already?

[The journey seemed quick to her. But that probably has something to do with being asleep for the bulk of it.

She takes the cape and wraps it back around the warrior's shoulders, fumbling with the fastenings in confusion for a moment before figuring them out.]

[He moves to help her with putting on the cape.]

Should we meet Ceodore and Ursula?

[She nods, smiling. Even when the cape's in place again, she doesn't move her hands away from his shoulders for a few seconds.]

Yes. I wouldn't want to make them wait.

[He nods, but he doesn't step away until Porom has moved her hands from his shoulders.]

Then we will not.
