...He's not good at feeling slightly ashamed of himself. Really, he's not. The woman was kind to him and he upped and left without saying a word. Probably it isn't a big deal to her, but like he knows that. Back home he'd be skinned for pulling a stunt like jumping to the next town.

Fun fact? He isn't good at being humble, either. This is difficult for him, but he does mean every word. ]

Is he really a king? I have not seen one act like he before. Are they not supposed to be pompous, and old? He was neither of those things.

[What is with the non-bearded kings? It just strikes him as odd that someone that young could have become a king so quickly. As well as the fact humes have kings at all. Back where he's from, they generally favour presidents and archdukes.]
