[With the apprentices clear of the town and Rydia, Rosa, Ursula and Ceodore arriving Porom finally teleports away from the tower to meet with them, deliberately trying to catch the dragon's notice one last time as she does so to keep his attention on the now-empty Prayer Dias.]

Is everyone okay? He- magic won't harm him. Don't try to use it. Be careful!

[Rydia frowns, peering at the dragon.]

Porom, he's not an Eidolon. We met him in the Subterrane. I shouldn't try summoning against him, though. He'll just counter that with Mega Flare. Listen, we'll need your white magic. Slow, Blink, Reflect...give us those, and we can manage the rest.

[And then she summons Asura, who casts Protect over the party. Time to get to work.]

[Ursula draws her gaze away from the Prayer Dias long enough to focus on what they'll all need. She uses Aura on everyone, granting them Regen and Auto-Life. The princess hopes they won't need it, but...better safe than sorry.]

[She casts Haste and Blink, for now. Dualcasting speeds up the process a great deal.]

Is that everything? Once I cast reflect, I'll have to dispel it to help anyone.

[Edge pulled out his katanas giving them a quick once over before pulling out a shuriken on the ready to attack.]

[Ceodore helps by loading on the buffs too, making short work of getting everyone good to go.]

[After a second's hesitation, she casts Reflect.]

[Ursula darts a look at Ceodore.]

[She talked about doing their band just before they arrived, so why not start off with it? If he's ready, so is she.]

[Once Rydia feels Reflect settle over them, she puts that to use. Concentrating on casting Flare, she centers that on the party...which means it will strike Dark Bahamut. That's one way to get around his own Reflect spell.]

[ Rosa just nods and readies her bow, preparing her next shot with Aim before letting it loose at the creature's head. She's ready and keeping an eye on the others. ]

[Edge takes careful aim with his Fuma Shuriken before letting it fly.]

[Edge began to get worried though when he sees their foe cast reflect on itself.]

[Ceodore nods in Ursula's direction and takes a ready stance for their Twin Rush. He waits for just the right moment to lunge in and start slashing at the pseudo-Eidolon.]

[Ursula rushes forward, keeping her blows perfectly timed with Ceodore's strikes. The result is greater than what either could achieve alone, though the battle is far from over. Dark Bahamut lashes out, though the Blink spell protects them for the time being. Changing tactics, the dragon casts Flare on himself...which, as with Rydia's spell, will bounce off him and back towards the party.]

[Shell takes some of the damage, at least. And after seeing Barbariccia's minions fight on the moon, something clicks into place mentally.]

[If the false eidolon can reflect attack spells off himself and toward them, she can do the same with healing magic.]

[ Rosa winces at the Flare, but keeps pressing on, loosing another arrow as it seems Porom has the healing under control for now. She watches Ursula and Ceodore protectively, though, to be sure nothing hurts them. ]

[Edge bores down on the creature katanas bared feeling his strength ebb and flow with the flares and curajas. This thing is starting to really irk him.]

[Flare hurts, but it's something they've all learned to handle. He knows Porom's got it covered, and everyone's doing their part in the battle. He'll add his own magic to the onslaught, casting Flare as well, reflecting it off the Reflect that was cast upon the party so that it'll hit Dark Bahamut.]

[Ceodore winces and shakes off as much as he can of the Flare, resisting the temptation to simply start issuing directions to everyone present. It's a habit he'd gotten into when his father was still a blank slate and with the man absent, it's far too easy to slip into that mode of thinking by default. However, on a moment's thought, he decides it might be time to test out something he's learned locally.]

Someone cast Flare on my sword.

[Easier way to get around Reflect without running the risk of spell timing being off and not bouncing as it should.]
