He'd never flown an entire world before. It takes about thirty minutes but soon he arrives at the gate, where the guards let him through after a moment or two of stating his name and his business.

I had found the Goddess materia there, within the Banora Mines. It was where I had been hiding. I had... degraded enough that my hair had turned white and my skin was ashen. Even my eyes lost the mako glow. But when I activated the materia, it not only restored me but gave me too much.
I turned into a monster, though Zack was able to quell the fight and I was restored. The degradation ceased and I am as you see me now. Zack carried me out and I assume he continued on his way to Midgar with that cadet.
