Are love letters the usual way in which affection is expressed? [ Percy looks a bit confused, and hesitant about asking people. No one really teaches these sort of things in the middle of a war, so he's curious in general, but he actually wants to know this for a reason, too. A specific one. That fake love letter made him start thinking, but it's not like he could ask Porom about it. Instead, he's asking others, and probably catching the attention of all the shipperdins and trolls in the process.]

She gave you a chance to lend your strength to the next round of battles... you were fortunate. [Something they'd actually planned for all along, to both be there after ensuring their allies would be... but then the rift had come up and Kain had changed his course.] And destroying those manikins would have greatly reduced their numbers for the next cycle.

It did. I did not remember that sacrifice in the following cycle, but it truly made a difference... as did what you and the others accomplished.

Yes. Without knowledge of the past, we could all move forward as Warriors of Cosmos, even despite what might have happened before.

There is no less value in their actions as warriors of Chaos, but for them, lacking memory is something that perhaps they would prefer. Even if it is the truth, it will cause them to doubt in themselves.

I agree. It's not anything anyone would want to suddenly remember. It also... could well have been any of us, who were taken over to his side.

Indeed. As long as they are now fully devoted to upholding the light, then having been drawn to Chaos's side in the past matters little.

And even if they cannot remember fighting alongside you, it does not change that you are a comrade.
