[The camera is static, as the feed starts. Serah's sat at the living room table in the house, the flowers that Basch gave to Lightning just visible to her left. She looks tired, exhausted - and her eyes are red. It's not been long since she found out what happened the night before, after calling Basch, and why Lightning never came home. It's only taken her a few minutes to set up the feed, and she hasn't told any of her friends what's happened, yet. And even though she feels like her world is crashing, she has to let the people who cared about Lightning know before it does.

After a moment's quiet, she swallows, looking towards the camera, her eyes glassy.]

Some of you won't... know me. I'm Serah Farron... Lightning's sister.

Sis has- sorry, Lightning has-

[pause. every word that follows, her voice is on the edge of breaking.] Lightning's gone home.

[She's silent, before wiping at her eyes, and the feed ends.

A little while later, she can be found still in the living room of the house, arms folded across the table, her head buried into them. Next to her is a photoframe - of her and her sister, back in Bodhum - what she brought back from the world merger.]

[Expressing himself is so difficult. :| But at least he knows what the 'right thing' is to say. And he does mean it, despite having a hard time with the emotional aspect.]

...I didn't know she had a sister.

[But then, none of them had known much about each other's home worlds, and he'd not had a chance to know her here.]

[That gives her pause for thought. She doesn't recall seeing this man before; or Lightning ever mentioning him. So the question that follows is seemingly harmless, even though unbeknowst to her, it's not.] Did you know her, here?

[She tilts her head, and she looks... doubting: almost a reflection of the same face her sister uses in such situations. He... isn't lying, is he? Would he have a reason to?]

[That's as much a point of the fact she isn't convinced, entirely, and a point to the fact she's somewhat willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.]

[she pauses, not having meant to ask, and she quickly adds,] I-I'm sorry, I... I know that's not fair to ask...
