[Despite the hospitality, Rydia can't depart Garden fast enough. She appreciates what Rinoa and the others did for her, but the urge to see her family overwhelming. After arriving in the middle of such horror, only their presence will truly soothe her and remind her that she's not there anymore--in Burmecia or Mist. So, she insists on stopping at Troia. After that strange conversation with Edge, it seemed convenient for the both of them as well. He can meet her and then they can head to whatever he wanted to show her so badly.

Rydia barely pauses to glance at the town before heading straight for Troia's Castle at a brisk pace. While not meaning to be rude, she's too focused to pause and chat with just anyone at the moment. Instead, the summoner is a green whirlwind in search of three people and she won't stop until they're found.]

[Rydia doesn't have to go far into the castle to find Cecil, who at the moment at the castle entrance overseeing deliveries into town. Food, bedding, medicine, supplies; all are being delivered to the evacuees, currently living in houses that were abandoned when part of the population vanished.

Cecil's tired, that much is obvious; he had to cross the Devil's Road a number of times to escort the evacuees, and hasn't had much chance to rest since. But when he spots a green-haired woman approaching from town, he immediately brightens.]

[Rydia increases her pace, desperate to close the distance. As soon as he's within arms' reach, she grabs at him for an enthusiastic embrace.]

[Cecil is surprised by her enthusiasm -- she's just as energetic as ever. Still, he warmly returns the embrace.]

I'm glad you're all right. Did you make it here safely?

[She nods against his shoulder.]

Garden brought me over just fine. I'm lucky they were nearby, or I might have had to spend more time in that awful place. I'm so sorry I vanished....

Rydia... Don't apologise. None of us can control who comes and goes here.

[Edge comes flying into the castle any semblance of propriety cast aside.]

Rydia!! Rydia!! Rydia! Where are you?

[He asks a guard without stopping.]

Where is she?

[Rydia, making her way down the hall, pauses as she hears that familiar voice not too far away.]

Edge?

[Edge knows that voice anywhere, and practically dives down the hall.]

Rydia! I knew I'd find you.

[Stopping a scant inch away from her, he grabs her into an embrace.]

[Rydia bolts towards Edge, but he's quicker. Once she's in his arms, the summoner clings back. Her thin frame trembles a little, too relieved for words right at that moment.]

[He starts kissing her and holding her for dear life.]

[He squeezes her tight, not ever wanting to let go.]

[Oh, who cares. Breathing can happen later. It isn't nearly as long for Rydia, at least so it feels, but the trauma of arriving where she did makes her -very- relieve to see him and so she kisses back with all due passion.]

[ As usual, Rosa can be found in the infirmary, dealing with those who still need it and aiding the rest in figuring out what needs to be done next. ]

[ At first she thinks it's Cecil, but then she looks down at the arms...

[ Yep, that's going to be a practically bone-crushing return hug, complete with tears of joy. She has so missed Rydia. ]

[Rydia's going to have bruised ribs at this rate, but she doesn't care. The summoner clings to her friend, half-laughing, half-crying.]

[ She's missed Rydia so so much. Eventually, she pulls back to give her friend a good looking over to be sure she's okay. ]

You are all right? We can find the guest chambers and talk there?

[Rydia nods eagerly. She's a bit pale and shaken but otherwise physically fine.]
