021 - Steiner - Text (Filtered from Garnet plus bad guys)

[Steiner has been thinking about this for some time. Garnet is with child and becoming more obviously pregnant by the day. Zidane still isn't here. That kind of... makes Steiner the default father. At least in his head. He will be responsible for the infant prince or princess just as he has been for Garnet.

Only... babies aren't really Steiner's area of expertise...]

I would like to request some advice! Are there any parents here who might offer their wisdom? My queen I have a friend who is expecting her first child. Since her husband disappeared, she has been left with the heavy burden of bringing up the child alone.

I would offer what assistance I can, but my knowledge of parenting is limited. Should anyone be willing to help, I would be most grateful!

I can certainly relate. My knowledge of parenting was... very limited, when my son was born.

Trust in yourself, and trust in the child's mother. You will make mistakes, but just like any other skill in life -- whether it be mastering a weapon or riding a chocobo -- you will learn. If you truly care for the child's wellbeing, it matters little how much experience you have. The most important thing a child needs is love.
