[ Before Rasler begins transmission, he picks up a moogle doll, long since abandoned on the bench. It reminds him of a young child's attempt at drawing a moogle. He pulls out the device, given to him earlier and turns it on, carefully following the directions that were given to him earlier by the odd looking moogles. He looks into the camera, biting his lip and then he begins to speak. He's still a little shaken about suddenly finding himself in a new world, but he quickly regains his composure and taken up his usual aristocratic demeanor. ]

Hello, it seems that I was brought here to Gaia. I was wondering if anyone could tell me more? It would be greatly appreciated.

[He pauses, and then lifts up the moogle doll up to the device.]

Does this belong to anyone? I just found it and it looks as if it may mean something to someone. If not then never mind.

[ It's been so long since Rosa last saw Rasler that she doesn't immediately recognize him. Seventeen years is a long time to go without seeing someone, after all. ]

I do not recognize that doll... However, it appears you are in a recognizable city. Warjilis by the look of it, though I have no visited in some time.

[ She smiles. ]

I am Rosa Harvey. May I have your name? There may yet be people who know you and they may be able to help you more than I can.

Rasler Heios Nabradia. [He perks up looking quite interested.] You mean there are others from Ivalice?

[ But then his name hits her and she gasps, bringing a hand up to her mouth. ]

You are... Rasler? [ pause as her hand drops again. ] Ashelia will be most pleased to see you.

[His eyes lit up, and his eyebrow arch up in surprise.] She's here?

[The first spoken sentence is enough to grip Ashelia's heart and have her snatching the Sky Phone from her dressing table in emotional desperation. That voice - it spoke vows on their wedding day, words of encouragement as she gave birth - and hope is coupled with the threat of disappointment should this not be him. Her prince, her soulmate.

Her gray eyes widen, moisten with tears at the sight of him once she activates the screen. She gasps, almost trembles, and it isn't immediately clear to her where he is, since the moogle doll he holds obscures the background. Whether or not her voice is ready to speak, his name has always passed her lips easily.]

[ He nearly drop everything in his hands at the sound of Ashe's voice. When he had left for war, he expected to wait weeks if not months to see her once again. And when he arrived here he expected the wait to be even longer. His lips curl into a smile.]

Ashe? Is that you?

[Now a tremor runs through her hands, and she can only stare at him in disbelief and incredible elation. How she had prayed for his return, for the chance to be back in his arms once again - and for Shain, the little prince who needed his father. Ashe draws in a deep breath and swallows a lump in her throat, the sound of her name seems to compose her enough to focus.]

I thought... [She doesn't finish - later, she will give thanks to whatever force chose him to return, but now, all she wants is to find him, hold him close.]
