Is everyone okay? The rescue, with the mines and- how did it go? Leaving Mysidia right now- it doesn't seem to be an option unless the situation is desperate. But if I can help at all then-

[She's starting about a million different sentences without finishing any of them and seems slightly frantic. She may have been fretting constantly since that initial message from Ceodore.]

Palom? Ursula? Ceodore? ...Palom? You're- you're all okay, right?

[...yeah, Palom gets mentioned twice. He has to be twice as okay.]

[There's been a minor skerfluffle regarding what Ceodore should be doing and what he's actually doing. Some people are convinced he needs to be hauled up in bed resting, but he's got other ideas. At the moment, he's checking on the other folk who had been trapped in the mines. The crunch of his feet in the snow is a dead giveaway, even if he's avoiding video confirmation that he is, in fact, not resting.]

[She sighs, relieved.]

Thank goodness.

[And then right to business, because she's quickly learning that Ceodore doesn't like being fretted over - and she's still clumsily trying to make up for causing offence by trying too hard not to cause offence - and also because this is one of the many things she has been working out while too worried to sleep and in search of distractions. Her tone instantly changes from desperation to calm - calm-ish, anyway.]

You're going to learn basic field medicine. At the very least.

[Well, that was much easier than she was expecting. She picks up momentum as she goes, becoming steadily more collected as she talks about something she's so familiar with.]

I can teach you, if you'd like. Or if you'd rather stay in Narshe for now, I'm sure the doctors there could use all the help they can get. If you tell them you're a competent white mage then I'm sure they'll allow you to assist and learn from them, though their advice may not be as useful in the field.

White magic is useful, but no magic is a panacea for all of our problems. Healing magic must be tempered with knowledge to reach its potential.

I'm not sure I should leave. There's a lot we're going to have to do with half the mines in shambles.

[No video, because Porom's fretting enough without seeing Ursula's state for herself. The princess can't hide her exhaustion, though, and her voice is barely audible.]

[y-yeah, she's probably could to be saying that over and over for a while. She hiccups, fairly glad herself that this isn't video right now because hearing Ursula's voice after worrying so much has just about instantly brought her to tears.]

I'm- I'm so glad... Thank goodness...

[Sigh. Ursula doesn't like to be told to rest, but at this point is still too weak to override anyone's will.]
