There Will Always Be Sunshine When I Look at You [Action for Yuna]

[After the Winterfest celebration, after the Team Cosmos get together, Tidus and Yuna are back in Luca - back to life, back to work, back to what kind of passes for normal on Gaia. Even if things went wrong, as they did a lot, you just kept going. Why not? In a way, it was kind of the best revenge on all the people determined to wreck the peace - show that they didn't have the power to actually do it.]

[Tidus is coming home from his first day back at the stadium and the blitz lessons he's heavily involved in between games, actually really content. No massive emergencies for over a month, and they'd gotten to see their friends over the trip - life was pretty good. He takes the steps to their door two at a time, opening it and ducking in quick.] Yuna? I'm back!

[And that burst of energy continues as Tidus runs up the stairs to meet her at the top, pulling up just a couple feet before crashing into her and sliding his arms around her waist with a grin.] Miss me?

Oh, okay, then I'll just go over to Tifa's- [Aaaand he starts to pull away, joking of course but making as though he's going to go back down the stairs.]

[Aaaaaand there's no way he can resist that expression. Tidus makes it down no more than two stairs before reversing back up to his wife. This time, though, he sneaks behind her and wraps his arms around her to rest with his hands on her expanding stomach.]

But you know, Denzel and Marlene can get kind of loud... Think I'll stay here.

It can wait. [He links his fingers in with hers, setting his chin on her shoulder even though.] Kind of not right to come in the door and go right back out again, right?

How 'bout we both go over there later, then? [And of course he doesn't stop her turning around, and when she does he nudges her nose with his, still smiling.] Then they can see just how beautiful you are.

Awww, why? I like it. [But he's grinning. Tidus dips his own head and nuzzles her nose again, then presses his lips to hers very briefly.] 'Cause it's true... I've got the most beautiful girl in the whole world.

[Oh Yuna why you touch him there. His eyes momentarily go just a little wonky from that touch, but he pulls himself together to grin back.] That's part of it. Most of it's 'cause it's true, though.

*snerks* She didn't!

[She's not quite at the point where they probably can't do anything - but she's close. He's going to have to suffer for awhile and he's not looking forward to it. But he gets revenge, leaning forward to just barely kiss her earlobe before pulling back.] So what'd you do today?

Well if anyone would remember, it would probably be her.

You read? [He's not a big fan of it, but if she likes it, that's fine with him.] Did you go out to the shop? I think Tifa wants to help with it for awhile.

[Translation: He's being a worried husband and trying to protect his pregnant wife from hurting herself.]

Oh, the paid ran out?

[Aaaaaaaaand worry mode GO!] You what? You cleaned? Are you okay, did you hurt yourself, do I need to go do anything and maybe you should sit down and I'll get dinner and-

[Oh god he's even trying to pull away in an effort to go take care of things before she can and not have her hurt herself or the baby doing heavy work.]

*hums*

[Aaaand got him. Focusing on the baby is a good way to distract him, and Tidus pauses in his headlong flight to look down at his hand on her tummy. Then after several seconds, he looks back up.]

Are... Are you sure? You're not hurt? She's not hurt? [Yes he's taken to calling the baby a girl.]

[And that is never, ever going to fail to entrance him. His eyes widen at that small kick, his mouth beginning to stretch into a grin.] She kicked... She just kicked me!

[He's felt it before, but it's always magic. And Tidus drops slowly to his knees to kiss Yuna's tummy through her clothing.] If she keeps doing that, she's gonna be a blitz player in no time.
