[Cissnei walks out of the inn, stressed and confused about what to do. Her head was a whirlwind of contradicting thoughts. She was a Turk since she could remember and loved it too, but Rufus as President? Of course, Reno and Rude trusted him with their lives, so that meant something, right?

It didn't take away from him being a traitor. That was still fresh in her history and remembered it rather well. But then there was the whole "Veld's daughter is the leader of AVALANCHE" thing that Rufus informed her about. How frustrating this entire ordeal was to her! She shook her head and sighed heavily, weaving between people as she made her way to the Theatre District.]

[She would find herself walking right into an impressive screaming match. Ruby, good at both projecting her voice and arguing with people, was drowning out a whole gaggle of Lowell's adoring fans.

She didn't like the actor but she could tolerate him. She could work with him, when she had worked with him, and she could work in the same district and keep any rivalry friendly.

What she couldn't tolerate were his fans. Especially when they talked the way they did about Tantalus. Especially when one of them chose the absolute worst moment (any moment while Ruby was in hearing range) to make a joke about their casting choices 'having her in stitches - oh wait!'.

And so now Ruby was screeching something barely understandable through her accent and her rage but definitely very profane.]

[Cissnei, even more confused now, looks up and sees the girl just yelling at the top of her lungs who knows what. She furrows her eyebrows deeply at the sight of seeing her all-out thrashing in such a colorful language that would probably make Reno blush.]

You're going to give yourself a heart attack, you know.

Good! Once I'm dead I ain't gotta deal with Lowell's awful acting! I'd sooner believe a brick wall's displays of emotion! He's nothin', nothin' but a pretty face an' even that's all powder an' superslick! Man spends more time at the mirrer than I do! I'll take any heart attack over seeing his face one more time!

[At this point she realizes that poor Cissnei was not one of the fans she originally started screaming at. Oops. Displaying exactly no shame over the mistake, she turns back to her original victims only to find that they used the distraction to run.

Her voice instantly returns to its normal, calm tone.]

Ugh. First they got the nerve to insult Blank, then they run off when I'm talkin' to em. They got no manners! Sorry ya kinda ended up caught in the crossfire there, darlin'.

[Ruby's rant blew Cissnei's thoughts straight out of the water which a bit of a relief for her.]

[Cissnei cocks her head slightly. What men's clothes? She looks down at herself, then it suddenly dawns on her.]

Ah, well... sort of. I mean I'm supposed to be looking for supplies for an excursion my partner and I are going to do. I... I still haven't decided if I want to keep wearing this uniform, though.

[Ruby leans in, apparently inspecting Cissnei's face. She ponders it for a while and then nods as if she's come to a conclusion about something.]

If ya'll don't want to wear it then there ain't no reason why somebod' pretty as you should have to wear it. No doubt ya'll are gonna have to wear a uniform on this excursion, right? So ya might as well dress up pretty while yer in town!

[She cocks an eyebrow and simply watches Ruby in confusion as she scans her face. Cissnei was completely flattered by being called pretty but was flustered all the same.]

Oh, well, I... that's not really what I meant but I think so?

[She wasn't going to openly admit it, but wearing a tie did get a little stifling at times, especially on assignment.]

[And now Cissnei is being dragged toward the aircab station.]

[The poor girl tries to fight back but fails miserably.]

Where are we going?!

[She asks in a desperate shout. This Gaia was certainly too much for Cissnei to handle and can't remember when was the last time she was being dragged about as such.]

[Cissnei just went with it. Not that she was going to admit it, but she hadn't been shopping in a very long time and was now looking forward to it. Kind of. Reno was going to have a field day as soon as he found out about this.]
