[Rinoa is back in her room in Garden. She's curled up on the bed, hugging her dog, Angelo. The pair are inseparable. Rinoa can't look at anyone else without the memories of everything she did getting in the way. But Angelo loves her. Even though she locked Angelo up and left her, a dog's love is unconditional and Rinoa is clinging to that right now.

She looks at the camera for several long moments. She knows that she has to apologise to everyone, but what can she say?]

...I'm sorry.

[And that's all Rinoa can manage for now. She leans forward and the feed switches off.]

Much. We encountered Garland, but could not overcome his power. We learned that he has created a new Angel of Death, named Lufene. We fought her as well, but she absorbed great power and is believed to have destroyed Terra shortly afterward. I doubt any of the world now remains.

They are powerful artifacts from Ivalice...Ramza's Ivalice, not mine. There are thirteen, twelve branded with signs of the zodiac. In truth, these Zodiac Stones are connected to the Lucavi demons, providing conduits for the demons to reach us. The pure of heart can wield the stones to work 'miracles' but if there is darkness within one's soul, the Lucavi will use it to take hold. This is what happened to Kain.
