[After her talk with Rosa, Rydia's leaning against the balcony railing of her room in Troia Castle, overlooking the neighboring town. It's past sunset, but there's still enough light to see by as the summer sky is slow to darken. She stares at the view for a moment, then turns away from it, leaning against the railing. Her demeanor is largely bright and excited, though there's a faint undercurrent of nervousness.]

So, I've decided--a few days ago, actually. Troia is lovely and it will always be a second home, but...it doesn't need me. And truth be told, I could do with some new sights. I'd like to know a little more about Alfitaria before I leave, though. The Garden Festival was just there, right? Aside from that outrageous parking fee, what was the city like?

How are you doing lately? Is there a chance your goodwill tour can include Alfitaria? I was looking forward to showing you around Troia, but we could have fun exploring this city instead.

It's alright. That just means I'll have the fun of exploring later on. All I really know is that it's pretty different from where I live now.

I think this whole world is pretty different from where I lived before, but that makes the idea of exploring it that much more tempting.

It's not too different from mine in some ways, but the locations from other worlds provide a good variety. I haven't seen most of them yet, but I'd like to, sometime.

I haven't been here long. I arrived in Treno, and a friend took me to see the Midgar Ruins and the let another friend meet me in Lindblum. I'm in Luca at the moment, so I haven't seen too much.

[She blinks at that first comment, staring at Aerith oddly, but the question diverts her.]

Oh, a lot. I've been here over a year. I arrived at the Ice Cavern, which is nothing to speak of, and from there...Dali, Alexandria, Lindblum, Figaro, Troia, Costa Faguita, Guadosalam, Conde Petie, Luca, the Hunter's Camp....

...and some other places, too, but not long enough for them to count.

I've heard of a few of those places. I'd like to visit them.

They all have their merits. Though...don't go to Conde Petie with the intent to pass through to the Iifa Tree, unless you want the dwarves to marry you to someone. That's one of their traditions and they don't bend on it.

Not that it really means anything or is legally enforceable elsewhere. Besides, the one I married later left and didn't remember anything when he returned, so it counts even less...right?

They're a close friend, yes. And he's with someone else, so I know he wasn't taking the 'wedding' seriously.

I think it has to be, considering, and there's no reason whatsoever to return to Condie Petie, so it won't happen again. Thankfully.

It's nice to meet you again, too. At least I don't have much to catch you up on, since we only met a few times before. But now that you're here again, I'll be glad to get to know you better.
