[The screen flicks on to a... field of nothing but white and a few sun-dappled cloudy shadows, apparently. The sound kicks in quickly, though, beginning with a giggle that turns into a real, happy laugh very quickly as the picture refocuses and settles right-side up to show a round, smiling, black face and two curly-cue horns in the middle of the sea of white fuzz. The creature baaaaahs and lunges forward, nudging the camera, as the voice laughs again in delight.]
This is amazing! They're adorable! The dwarves say they showed up out of nowhere, like everything else in this world, but I didn't think anything this good came over!
[Refia's in full-on animal-geek mode; the camera turns to show a field practically buried in fuzzy round white puffs, Conde Petie not too far off, and Alfa the chocobo in the midst of the new animals. The sheep don't seem to care about the chocobo at all; the chocobo, though, is obviously puzzled over them and occasionally reaches down to tug gently with her beak at a hunk of their fluff, earning some protesting noises as the sheep moves away from the tugging thing.]
I have to get her to stop doing that, but this is wonderful. It's so nice here, even if the dwarves aren't just like the ones at home. They're close enough, and they're helpful and friendly to everyone. [The picture turns once more to show Refia herself, sitting amidst the sheep and practically surrounded by them, leaning on one with a happy and content expression on her face.] It's not home, but it's the closest I've found here. I wish I could stay longer...
(ooc: Reffie's totally singing this in her head.)
