[Once the sky phone clicks on all of Lindblum could be heard for its owner is currently roaming along the city streets. The Marquis gained a few greetings from locals today as he made his way through the theater district. Taking a moment to greet them with a hearty ‘hello’, Ondore finally speaks.]

Greetings to all friends and comrades alike, I do hope the days look upon you kindly now that Winter’s chill has faded into memory.

Lindblum is just a sea of gossip today. I’ve heard all sorts of wild rumors thanks to some of the friends I keep, and many say that my latest endeavor has been well received by the public. The stars must be aligned in my favor, for there has been little criticism regarding my novel.

Although, one thing seems quite off about all this good reception…

[Taking a brief pause, Marquis Ondore organizes his thoughts.]

It would seem that Sir Lesales novel is causing me some unnecessary grief as of late. I wonder if that ardent was the one who started such a rumor for there is nothing in my novel that is similar to his other than location. Perhaps this is just a form of friendly jostling amongst friends and rivals.

No matter, I am merely thankful for whatever praise I can gain; I think my days as a novelist has just begun. With that said, perhaps I should take a note from the past and research some of Lord Avon's works. He is referred to fondly as the 'Bard of Avon' because of his most famous works, "I Want to be Your Canary" & "Wishing upon a Star". Many of the playwrights right here in Lindblum continuously praise Lord Avon by making slight references to his fabled plays within their performances.

'Tis widely known that even the famous actor, Lowell Bridges is an avid fan of Lord Avon's work. Just about everyone in the theater district is fond of this man, yet I have not read any of his plays.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out on the upcoming auctions in hopes of finding a second edition copy of Lord Avon's famous works, but until then I'll tend to my writing.

Oh, you don't wanna read them. Plays are meant to be performed. I saw Lowell in I Want To Be Your Canary and it was amazing.

I am well, thank you! And it sounds like you are too, Marquis. Guess what?

[Okay, she can't hold it in any longer.]

I bought your book!

Yep!

I've only just started it, but it's interesting so far! I think I might learn a lot from it.

I don't see why not. Stories appeal to everyone, don't they? They're universal.

[Have a familiar voice, Marquis, one that sounds excited to hear that~]

You're in Lindblum?

[How did she not know this? She probably never asked, and she flushes a little that she didn't.]

Oh, that's why you come down here! How long will you be here for, then?

Lord Avon? Good choice. His work has been continually inspiring, "I Want to be Your Canary" among my favorites. You will find no better of a playwright. It's been so long since I've attended any showing. If a group were to do a tribute to his work, I would be there in less than a heartbeat.

Thank you for the tip. I shall certainly keep my eyes open for such an opening. It would be a grand event to witness, for sure.

Lowell Bridges... never heard. Have you?

Not from Lindblum, no. I'll have to see his work before judging it myself, but if you do recommend, I'll go in with high optimism.

I hope for an opportunity to read your work myself, should a copy find its way to Figaro.

Not at all, uncle. Rasler and I both welcome you.

[Ashe knows he's probably hoping for another opportunity to spend time with Shain, as well.]

Lowell Bridges is a stuck-up, self-obsessed, arrogant excuse for a man. His plays are mindless drivle.

Lord Avon on the other hand is a genius.

Bridges thinks he is so much better than everyone. He's a jerk, and he treats his fans like dirt.

I wouldn't be where I am today without Lord Avon. His works are the nerve-centre of Tantalus' operations. 'I Want To Be Your Canary' is always our most popular show.

The greatest theatre troupe Gaia has ever seen... at least... we were, once upon a time.

Well... with all the strange stuff that's been going on in Gaia they've just kind of... disappeared.
