Date: 2010-03-29 03:49 pm (UTC)Ser Gabranth, 't is Agrias Oaks. Pray forgive the late hour of my calling. I would have waited 'til the morn were this a social call, but the gravity of my disclosure shall speak for itself. Have you a moment? [ And there is no pause. She cuts, and cuts quick. ] I would see no harm come to you or your lord if 't was in my power to stay it, and in this...

Date: 2010-03-30 06:46 am (UTC)...Lady Agrias, what are you speaking of? I am afraid I have little understanding of your meaning.
What harm would be necessarily coming to Lord Larsa? 'Twould do you well to inform me of you point, lest I find my own meaning and behave accordingly.

Date: 2010-03-30 09:31 pm (UTC)There is no short way for me to explain the matter, Ser Gabranth. I speak of auracite, a brand of magicite native to Ivalice that brings naught but death and destruction and worse still upon those that would use it. It is far greater than nethicite and any rumor that circulates about it. I know, and know well what may be borne of auracite, for I have beheld the threat it contains many a time. Lord Larsa knows naught of the danger that accompanies these stones; he desires to research them and... and mayhap he would heed your word, Ser Gabranth, for he will not heed mine. Should his word upon the network be any indication, his interest in the stones is too great for him to credit the word of one who has fought the shells of men robbed of body and mind by the demons who reside within them.
Therein lies my point, ser. If you would lend me your ear, I would inform you of them that you might act accordingly. If not... [ She doesn't want to think about what would follow that 'if not'. She doesn't want to imagine Lord Larsa succumbing to demons such as those she has fought, but then... would such loss as the world claims he has experienced not promote this? Were he to dabble in the stones... (Mayhap she will take to the bridge once this conversation is done, after she has informed Quistis about the stones. Mayhap she will rise after Balthier and Fran are gone to bed to gaze at the stars and wonder and wish... ah, but wishing never has gotten her anywhere, now has it? No. No, it really never has.) ]

Date: 2010-04-02 11:05 pm (UTC)Aye, 'twould seem you had a wise thought in choosing to converse with me about such matters. I would ask not to be informed of the intricacies of the stones; 'tis not my area of expertise and it would surely be misunderstood.
[Possessed men and stones does not sound good but anything further than that will just cause him to forget the very point of the conversation.]
However, your warning has been heeded. I shall speak with my Lord should he do something less than intelligent with these stones. Lady Agrias, you have my thanks for your word.
