[The recorder flicks on and movement is heard, the noises of an engine fading down in volume and the sound of a something heavy hitting something else. The voice is vaguely muffled, but loud enough to have words understandable if they're listened to properly.]

It makes so little sense... to be here without a reason, just as I was in Ivalice.

[A small thud is followed by a long pause in which only the hum of the Strahl's engine and glossair rings can really be heard.]

It has to be the Cache of Glabados. Those Stones were so similar... yet... could they be the same thing? Truly?

[A frustrated sigh follows and the noises of metal on metal begin, though its more of a scraping than a clanging. A moment longer and the sigh is met with another.]

If only were it that I could find some reason in this tangle of connections and loose ends. Hmph... if only Agrias believed my words of her Ivalice.

[An irritated noise.] If only I had less 'if onlys'.

It'd like be less of a problem coiled in a conundrum wrapped in an enigma were I able to--

[Transmission Timed Out.]

[ There is a lady knight on the end of this feed, one who is putting aside a certain sky pirate's still-familiar way of speaking to and about her if only for a moment so that she might issue a reply to his unintended... well, whatever the unintended things are called. ]

Your machine has seen fit to air your words to the public, Ser Pirate.

[ The tightness about her voice and words is indeed less than it was when she spoke with him times prior. She has had five days to gain a level head and contemplate the verity, if any, about his claims. ]

My stubbornness aside, what troubles you?

[ She is mindful of the smirk betrayed by his tone -- ]

I would have a resolution before a better understanding.

[ -- and more mindful still of his words regarding places from Ivalice. ]

Mean you more than Goug has appeared in this place?

[ She has heard rumors of a port said to be Warjilis, but... ]

I had heard rumors that the Port City Warjilis had found its way here. I was informed at the ball by a young woman that Goug, too, exists upon Gaia. Orbonne, though...

[ Perhaps she should have invested in a world map rather than limited regional ones. Perhaps, but that doesn't change the fact that if these locations are present, other Ivalicians may well have flocked to them... other Ivalicians who have not a voice in this world, for that matter, and whose inherent rights to these places may well be ignored in the absence of their lords and ladies. She might not be able to help that should that prove to be the case even, but she cannot know if it is the case (whether these locations are or are not the very same from her Ivalice) without first inspecting them. Neither can she know the plight of her fellow Ivalicians with any certainty until she has met them.

She clears her throat. ]

It falls to me to determine whether or not these locations are indeed one and the same with those of Ivalice. If others who hail from Ivalice have found themselves upon Gaia, surely they have flocked to them and garnered much knowledge... mayhap enough to aid those who would seek a resolution.

[ She pauses. ]

You oft speak of this 'Cache of Glabados'. What is it, that it may be responsible for these happenings?

[ If Agrias was not convinced of the verity of his words before, she most certainly is now and to the point that she forgoes any potential argument regarding the matter of 'me, us, and the task of appraising Ivalician locations upon Gaia'. That matter pales dramatically in the face of his words regarding Auracite and the Lucavi. That he speaks, too, of this 'Cache of Glabados' as being a collection of Auracite and host, too, to entities (Summons even if she understands him correctly) apart from the Lucavi makes her stomach turn over and into itself. This is what she understands first and foremost as she is not familiar with any sky continent, let alone the name 'Lemures', and the terms 'Yahri' and 'Auralith' are new to her as well and -- and what had he called the Lucavi just now? 'The Scions'? Something like that, and unfamiliar to be sure...

But the terms 'airship' and 'sky pirate' do seem to go together. These complement his words and confirm the belief she had garnered upon the issuance of his occupational claim upon their first meeting -- that he ultimately hails from a different time than her own, a time before her time mayhap. (She recalls it being said that the Age of Saint Ajora saw countless airships fill the skies... perhaps he is from that time, or one before it, before such technology as airships was lost.) That she knows not the names he speaks is understandable then. If the, or rather, those stones were responsible for his appearance in her time, too, that they might be capable of sending him back would seem a likely possibility to any intelligent person... and the questions occurs to her, who would have believed a godless rogue? A man without rank and influence -- the Church would have seen him hung several times over before it thought any substance to his words, his plight.

Mayhap it would have to stay his tongue and the truth about its precious 'Holy' Auracite. ]

Unless you mean to insult me, mind your words! I would not use the Stones.

[ Even if it meant she might be returned to Ivalice, for she remembers well the demonic forms of CĂșchulainn and Belias. She remembers, too, Marquis Elmdore's fall from grace and his two, strange female companions... and while it might be possible that some good exists within them, for Marach's revival by one such stone did suggest as much, to take such a risk would be -- would be a matter apart from the one at hand. Clearing her throat, she checks her volume. Her voice should not be so quiet, so disturbed. The matter is grave, yes, and the question she poses him no less: ]

Think you the Auracite exists here as well?

[ Should a certain sky pirate be paying attention, there is barely enough downtime for Agrias to have allowed his video to end on its own before she activated the response mechanism on her Skyphone. ]

How soon can you be here?

[ And there is a good bit of movement to be heard at the start of this audio recording, for someone is up and about making preparations for a swift departure. ]

North of Lindblum, as near or far as you require to avoid being detained by her authorities.

[While he could tell it was Balthier speaking, the words he spoke made very little sense to him and he's the one carrying a doctoral degree. Listening in mild discontent, Cidolfus decided not to speak just yet.

The Cache of Glabados? So that's what the sky pirate has his eyes set upon as of late, but why this? What sort of treasures could loom there, and what is this talk about 'stones'? Surely, Balthier wasn't mentioning about nethicite since the boy utterly loathes those things.

Therefore, what was Balthier speaking about? It was as if Cidolfus was forced to restart all he has done to tear down the barriers between them.

How cruel...]

You should be more mindful, son.

[Letting out an annoyed sigh, the doctor decides to reply back with something quite witty]

My very existence itself is probably problematic enough for you, so 'No'. In all due truth, I'm doing the exact opposite.

I take it that Fran has told you nothing about my residence in 'Dali' as of late.

Well, lamps! Surely, you know of my alter ego of 'Alejandro' as of late. I've decided to create the wonderful technology we've already enjoyed in Ivalice here within Gaia.

I am sure that the nethicite-powered lamps shall generate some controversy, but I am hopeful that the Gaians will come to appreciate such devices.

I grow tired of lighting candles.

You have mentioned the Cache of Glabados many times since your return. Is this not a chapter of our lives long since closed?
