To those who know him, or those who know of him... it is my belief that Balthier has returned to Ivalice.

Whatever people wish to believe about the assassination of Vayne is their own choice. Yet I know Balthier is innocent. Believe what you will, yet keep your negative comments from my ears.

The only guess I could venture at this point is that there is a force above playing with us, ripping out people from their own time and forcing them to live among strangers. Perhaps an experiment? Or maybe we are being selectively gathered in preparation of a war to come... not that there's any evidence of this, but Gaia has seen many wars in her day, and I wouldn't be surprised if history repeated itself.

If it was someone close to me being pulled in and out of time and space as I've seen being described, I would find a way to do something about it. The heart can only take so much of a loss, and it must be truly tragic to know that you can experience losing a loved one over and over again. What kind of cruel work is at hand? Whatever it is, I wouldn't want it above me if this is how they play the game.

While I wish there was a way to stop people disappearing... I would not wish for such power to rest on my shoulders.

My sisters. My younger, Mjrn, I am not so sure she wishes to return. Her tme here has allowed her to become more confident and become close to another from our world, who, if returned, would've long been dead.

Maybe your actions here will affect your time back in your own world. Then again, with so many stories being told at once, there's a chance that many different versions exist at the same time.
