[The trip to Luca had been long, longer than Wakka remembered the trip from Besaid ever being, but maybe it was just anxiety getting the better of him. The good kind, at least -- once the initial shock of seeing Tidus pop up on that little screen and worn off, he'd been almost overwhelmed with excitement about being reunited with his friend. Just when he thought he'd never see him again, fate had decided to prove him wrong. In this case, he really didn't mind being wrong so much.
He had begun to wander from the the docks towards the blitzball stadium out of habit before he realized Tidus wouldn't necessarily know to look for him there.
