[The warrior is standing near the edge of Alfitaria. It looks like he has been helping with repairs to the city, though he has been taking a break. Mostly, he's been hunting monsters to get gil and supplies to help with the city's recovery.]

The rebuilding seems to be going well. There is still much that has been destroyed, but the people are working well. Unless there is another attack, or a crystal is found, I plan to stay here to assist.

I was told of a tower found in the Soil Desert that contains a device that I wish to investigate, once Winterfest has ended. I believe that it is important to dealing with Garland. Are there any who would wish to accompany me?

Greetings Ladies & Gentlemen of the Council,

It most certainly seems as if Fortune has abandoned us, but we've managed to overcome the worst for now. Lufene's deadly attack upon our soils has certainly left yet another scar within the people's hearts, yet they are as resilient as ever. We could learn much from the people for which we serve. They strive hard not to give into both doubt and spite, yet I fear that our reluctance to speak on this matter regarding the newly annotated Angel of Death has harmed us.

The people's morale has lowered to new lows, and we mustn't allow such to happen! With the festivals approaching, I implore my fellow council members to be vigilant during the festivities. Lufene is a constant threat to our stability and morality. To take her lightly during the holiday season would only announce our failure as leaders to protect the masses. Our foremost and most dire concern lies within gathering enough intelligence in order to protect our people. By whatever means necessary, we mustn't allow Lufene's madness to continue on Gaia.

Stay vigilant, my friends. We cannot afford to have another disaster like this strike us again.
