May I please ask all of you not to focus upon the frivolous claims of a few knaves but rather upon the duties we face as a people united against atrocities that affect us all? I see no reason for such gossip to spread, but it is in your right as a people to scrutinize those who live within the public eye. However, be far aware that false inflammatory remarks can do much to ruin a man's reputation.

Therefore, I truly do ask the public to be more conscious of what you say. Assumptions do make a fool out of a man.
