[The phone's recording when the moogle hands it over. It might be revenge for a torrent of verbal abuse that she just launched at it, something that the phone only caught the back end of. Which is a shame, it all sounded quite entertaining. Especially the comments about antlions, it would have been good to hear those in context. Apparently it called her a kid, since the end of this whole rant seems to involve her denying such a thing.

Since she doesn't know it's recording she makes no effort to stay in frame and, in fact, the view swings from side to side as she moves her arms. She stops to look around, the phone focussing on the ankles of people who pass by.]

Woah. This place is massive! I din't know there were this many airships in the whole world!

[She finally moves the phone so she's in the frame. Briefly, anyway. After a few seconds she pokes quizically at what seems to be the lens, blocking out everyone's view. When she removes it she's out of the frame again, having turned it around to stare at the back of it. She finally turns it back, frowning in concentration.]

What does this thing do, anyway? Dumb moogle could have at least explained it before he ran o-

[Lindblum's airship docks are an unwise place to stand still and not pay attention and someone walks right into her, knocking her down and sending the phone skidding across the ground. Her grumbling is silenced by the distance but gradually becomes clearer as she pushes her way through the crowds to retrieve it.]

-Hey, hey, outta my way! Move it or lose i-

[And she stops, having found herself with a clear view over Lindblum. Wow, that's a long way down.]

-wow!

[And then, displaying all the wisdom inherited from magi ancestors, she climbs up onto the fence that stands between her and a very long drop and leans over to get a better look.]

[The scene is quite familiar-- Quistis is sitting at her desk with her SeeD uniform on, though her usually clear blue eyes are still slightly clouded and dull from her blinded state. Selphie is seen standing just over her shoulder.]

Due to Commander Squall Leonhart's departure and return to his home world, I would like to announce that I, Quistis Trepe, will be taking over the position of Commander of Garden and SeeD. SeeD Selphie Tilmitt will be promoted to Second-in-Command.

Also, a second announcement: The Garden Festival organized by SeeD Tilmitt will take place between the twenty-fifth to the twenty-seventh of this month. We will begin our tour from Luca to Lindblum, then to Figaro, and we will end in Alfitaria. All persons interested in becoming a cadet or being recruited as a SeeD should find their way to one of the rendezvous points where entry onto Garden will be permitted. The Festival will include sparring exhibitions, food booths, live music, guided tours, as well as an information booth. We hope to see you there.
