[Gabranth is sat in the sunshine, shirtless and listening to the waves of the ocean. Honestly, he'd be so much happier if it was just him and Quistis. He can tolerate her friends, but they're so loud!]

Lord Larsa, I shall be returning soon. I had not planned to join in on these festivities, yet Quistis needed an aide, due to her lack of sight.

[He sighs at some particularly loud giggling.]

I am afraid I cannot quite keep up with the adolescants I am currently accompanying, though I cannot complain about the weather.

[And he's going to try to be a little sociable now.]

[ Lightning seems to be intently reading something, though she obviously can't see the filtered half. She's so focused on her own thoughts and what she's reading that she's unaware that she's also accidentally turned the camera on! ] Garland and Kuja, huh. [ She glances off screen, moving the device to shove it into her pocket. ] Serah! Snow! Hope! I'm going out for a while!

[ The screen goes dark and the sound gets muffled as she slips it into her pocket. It is, however, still on. ] Wonder if that kid with the horn is still in Alexandria..

[The screen flickers on but it's cropped in a strange angle, showing only up to Fang's upper lip as she moves the device around before finally arranging it so her full face is in view. There's a wry smile as the sound of rain fills the audio recording and Fang looks all the more drenched under its relentless assault on her clothes and hair.]

By the looks of it, this old town hasn't seen sunshine in years. Bit of a depressing thing to wake up to, it is, but I ain't complaining. It's sure as hell better than waking up in most places I been to anyhow.

[She wrings the front of her blue sari out, dodging the droplets of water that drip from it before they land on her sandals.]

As nice as the invite to this place was, I'll have to decline. Got a bit of business to tend to back home and running around in circles anywhere else but there ain't exactly part of the plan. So come on then, any one of you, out with it. Tell me the quickest way outta here and there won't be any trouble from me, promise you.

[ she winks at that and leans her weight on her spear, a smile with questionable intent playing on her features before she blinks, seemingly remembering something. ]

Aye, that reminds me. Don't exactly know if it's belonging to any of you but there's some useful equipment laying around here. Looks new, nothing like the junk that's surrounding it and hey, it looks more or less like it could use some loving attention.

Greetings, citizens and people of Gaia.

This coming Sunday, Lindblum will be holding a memorial service for all those who lost their lives in the recent dragon attacks. At 11am, we will have two minutes of silence to mark their passing. While some of our loved ones have returned, many have not. I leave it to the rest of the world to decide how you will remember this tragic event, but any of you are welcome to join our moment of silence.

As ever, I am proud of the people of Gaia for the way we have fought back and held on even against the greatest odds. On behalf of Lindblum, I would like to thank all the brave soldiers, knights, pilots and townspeople who took up arms to defeat the dragons.

Many of you are wondering where these dragons came from. And I think that every citizen of Gaia has a right to know the truth. I believe that this and all the recent events connected to the Sky People is the work of a man called Garland, supported by his lackey, Kuja. I also believe that I know where this man is, and we are currently working on a way to find and stop him.

We've stopped this man before. And we'll do it again.
